Yesterday, Ducati unveiled two new Scrambler models in the Chinese market, the 1100 Tribute PRO model priced at 150,000 yuan and the Urban Motard model priced at 118,000 yuan.
Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro
The Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro features a very eye-catching "Giallo Ocra" yellow paint that pays homage to the 1972 450 Desmo Mono and 750 Sport. The side of the tank is printed with the 1970s Ducati logo designed by Giugiaro, and the top of the tank uses the same font spelling "Scrambler".
Other highlights include a wire black spoke wheel 18 inches front and 17 inches rear, round mirrors and a brown seat with special stitching.
While a nod to the classics of the past, the Tribute Edition is still equipped with a number of features, including: electronic throttle, three riding modes, multi-stage traction control, cornering ABS, LED headlights and a Ducati multimedia system. And there's a USB port under the seat that can charge your phone.
The Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro features a classic tube braided frame, aluminum subframe, cast aluminum swingarm and Pirelli MT60 RS tires. It is equipped with a fully adjustable 45mm Marzocchi front shock absorber and an adjustable KYB rear suspension with progressive linkages. The front brakes are radially mounted Brembo M4.32 monocoque calipers + 320mm brake discs.
In terms of power, the L-type twin engine with a displacement of 1,079cc, with a maximum power of 63kW/7500rpm and a maximum torque of 88Nm/4,750rpm, is still a classic air-cooled form.
Scrambler Urban Biker
Urban Motard features 17-inch spoke wheels and more grip endurance Diablo Rosso III tires with higher front fenders, flat seats and side plates for a very slippery tire setting.
Combined with Star White Silk and Ducati GP '19 Red graffiti-inspired livery, it's recognizable among the many Scrabler models. Like other Scrabler models, the Urban Motard is equipped with all-vehicle LED lights, and the entire Scrabler 800 series comes standard with cornering ABS, USB charging interface and Ducati multimedia system.
Hardware section, front and rear suspension are supplied by KYB, 41mm inverted fork and adjustable preload rear shock absorber. The brakes include front 330mm dual disc + 4-piston radial calipers and rear 245mm single disc + single-piston calipers with cornering ABS as standard. Power section, 803cc displacement air-cooled L twin engine, maximum horsepower 73hp/5, 750rpm, maximum torque 49ft-lbs/5750 rpm!
These two new Scrabler models are designed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the birth of the Scrabler series, so the design of the exterior color and prints is a tribute to the classic, and for carers with feelings, the new Scrabler is quite attractive!
