In order to maintain the order of the liquor market and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, recently, the Yilong County Market Supervision Bureau has launched a special action to clean the source and chain of "special liquor" in the county, and strictly investigate and control the illegal acts of making and selling "special liquor".
The operation focused on the county's major supermarkets, large and medium-sized catering units, liquor production enterprises, liquor wholesalers and specialty stores, and comprehensively investigated whether the production, sale, and operation of liquor products containing similar labels such as "special supply", "exclusive supply", and "internal supply" of party and government organs and the military were comprehensively investigated. Up to now, the bureau has dispatched a total of 126 law enforcement officers, inspected 438 liquor production and operation entities, and investigated 2 case clues.
On April 22, 2024, when the law enforcement officers of the bureau carried out supervision and inspection in the finished product warehouse of a winery in Jincheng Town, they found that the outer packaging was printed with the words "Zhu De's hometown Yandaishan VIP reception wine" and "internal reception wine [not for sale]". After investigation, the liquor box and bottle were purchased by the party from a Taobao merchant in 2020, and the liquor was brewed and bottled and sold in the party's workshop.
On May 7, 2024, when the bureau's law enforcement officers carried out a supervision and inspection of the business premises of a winery in Lishan Town, they found bottled wine for sale with the words "internal special wine" on the shelves of the store. After investigation, the liquor box and bottle were purchased by the party from a Taobao merchant in 2016, and the liquor was brewed and bottled and sold in the party's workshop.
The above-mentioned two parties are suspected of violating the first paragraph of Article 71 of the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China by ordering wine boxes and bottles with the words "internal reception wine" and "internal special wine", and then filling and selling low-grade liquor, and inducing consumers to purchase in the name of "internal recruitment" and "special supply" wine, which is suspected of violating the first paragraph of Article 71 of the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, which states that "the labels and instructions of food and food additives shall not contain false content and shall not involve disease prevention and treatment functions." Producers and operators are responsible for the content of the labels and instructions they provide. It constitutes an illegal act of dealing in food labels that do not comply with the provisions of the law. At present, two cases are being further handled. In the next step, the Yilong County Market Supervision Bureau will continue to carry out the special action of "special liquor" to clean the source and hit the chain, continuously increase inspection and law enforcement, strengthen offline investigation, online monitoring and whole-process publicity and guidance, and continue to promote the healthy development of the county's liquor market. At the same time, we also call on consumers to be vigilant, not to blindly believe in false propaganda such as "special liquor", and choose formal channels to buy alcohol products to protect their own rights and interests.
