Audi and Ducati jointly held an off-road event in Sardinia to jointly show the Ducati Diesel X and Audi RS Q e–tron racing cars to the media.

Information shows that Ducati entered the off-road field for the first time with the Desert X, and the body painting drew inspiration from the Audi RS Q e–tron racing car. The latter, using Audi's most advanced hybrid system, participated in this year's Dakar Rally and Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and achieved excellent performances.
In March, Audi officially announced that the Bentley brand had been incorporated into its group and reinterpreted the definition of the "new four rings". Among them, Audi's main business is technology and future technology, and Ducati's main business is the supercar of the motorcycle industry; this is their first joint activity.
