Recently, Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulations in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures for the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products. Effective immediately, we will recall a total of 5 imported 2021 Ford Mustang vehicles manufactured between August 20 and 27, 2021.

Within the scope of this recall, the front passenger side knee airbag of the vehicle may fall off due to poor welding between module components, and the solder joint may fall off during the expansion of the airbag, resulting in the airbag failing to meet the design protection requirements, and the risk of passenger injury in the event of vehicle collision will increase the risk of passenger injury, and there is a safety hazard.

Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. will replace qualified front passenger knee airbags for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge through authorized dealers to eliminate safety hazards.

Tesla Motors (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. recalled some imported and domestically produced Model 3 electric vehicles

Recently, Tesla Motors (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulations in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures for the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products. As of April 7, 2022, the recall will recall a total of 127785 imported and domestically produced Model 3 electric vehicles with production dates from January 11, 2019 to January 25, 2022 (including 34,207 imported Model 3 vehicles and 93,578 domestic Model 3 vehicles).

There may be minor manufacturing differences in the rear motor inverter power semiconductor components of vehicles within the scope of this recall, and the component manufacturing differences after some vehicles have been used for a period of time may cause the rear inverter to fail, resulting in the inverter not being able to control the current normally. This failure occurs when the vehicle is in a parked state, which will cause the vehicle to fail to start; this failure occurs when the vehicle is in a driving state, which will cause the vehicle to lose driving power, and in extreme cases, it may increase the risk of collision of the vehicle, and there is a safety hazard.

Tesla Motors (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will upgrade the motor control software for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge through the vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology; for vehicles that cannot be recalled through the vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology, they will contact relevant users through the service center to upgrade the motor control software for the vehicle to closely monitor the rear motor inverter of the vehicle, and timely replace the rear inverter with related failures free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.

Emergency measures: Before the vehicle recalls the upgrade software, the user should drive the vehicle cautiously and contact the Tesla service center for maintenance as soon as the recall begins.

Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. recalled some Geely GC7 vehicles

Recently, Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulations in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products. Effective immediately, the Company will recall a total of 18,031 Geely Vision GC7 vehicles produced from January 27, 2016 to November 26, 2016.

Due to the automatic transmission control strategy, the vehicles within the scope of this recall may overflow oil in the transmission oil pot during the driving process of specific working conditions (long uphill rapid acceleration), and the spilled oil may fire in the case of fire source, which is a safety hazard.

Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will replace the software-upgraded transmission control unit for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
