Books and roads, in me, are like two eyes or two legs. Everything in the world, as long as you hold the book and read more, walk on your legs, you can basically understand a rough idea. In the old saying, it is called "reading ten thousand books, walking thousands of miles".

Often, we read somewhere from the book, just happen to have our own tune, and we have a yearning. Even embark on a journey of dreams and complete the closed loop of the book, as if this is the only way to live up to the poetry and the distance.

In retrospect, the first place to seduce me was Su Hang. At that time, I didn't read any books, but I was tempted by sentences such as "I want to make the West Lake better than the West Lake, and it is always appropriate to wear heavy makeup and light makeup", "Hanshan Temple outside Gusu City, and the midnight bell to the passenger ship". So, close the volume and set off. In the era when the Chinese people were not popular for tourism, I walked out of Hubei Province for the first time, from Yichang down the river, in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai areas day by day to linger in the Jiangnan water town, always sad apricot blossoms smoke and rain.

In 1984, I read Sanmao's "The Story of the Sahara" and thought about it for 34 years, and finally went to the Sahara in 2018, and went deep into the desert hinterland to watch the sunshine and golden sands and listen to the camel bells. Since then, I have had less thoughts and more storage in my mind.

Later, more and more places were known, but the desire to go to the field became weaker and weaker. The world is so big, there are so many books, the individuals are so small, the knowledge is so poor, everything, the earth is long, how can it be exhausted?

One day, there was nothing to do, and I had Haruki Motomura's "If There Really Was a Time Machine" in my hand, so I flipped it over. Suddenly I saw "Mykonos", and my eyes lit up. It's a small place I've been to and loved. Today, I happen to see in Haruki Murakami's book that this reverse cycle is quite wonderful. It was as if in a remote place, I suddenly encountered my own old knowledge, surprised and delighted.

As can be seen from the book, Haruki Murakami has been to Yoneshima many times. And the reason why we have settled on such a small island is only because of the Greek islands, only Yarrow island has jets that can take us back to Paris. To our surprise, Mykonos is not only an airplane, it also has a strong regional atmosphere and natural scenery. Compared with the high-profile island of Santorini and the moody island of Paros, Yore Island is warm and quiet, vibrant and relaxed. Everything on the island is so natural and just right. It is no wonder that Haruki Murakami lived here for several months, and it was here that his famous work "Norwegian Forest" began to be created.

From late spring onwards, Mykonos enters the tourist season, and in the summer, the island is full of tourists. When autumn comes, almost all of the stores on the island are closed to recuperate, or return to their hometowns with cash to reunite with their loved ones. When the flowers bloom in the spring of the next year, they will come like bees, one by one. Year after year, cycle after cycle.

In 1986, Haruki Murakami, who was not yet wealthy, chose to go to the island in winter when there were no tourists and even the islanders were plummeting in order to save money and to be able to write quietly. He wrote in Mykonos: "There I wrote the first chapters of The Norwegian Forest. I remember it was incredibly cold. A few days before Christmas, there was only a small electric stove in the room. I was dressed in a thick sweater and shivering as I wrote. I didn't use a word processor at the time, and I wrote with a ballpoint pen in my college notebook..."

In 2010, Haruki Murakami revisited his hometown, visited his old friends on Yoneshima, and went to the hotel where he once stayed nostalgic, and praised the customs and natural beauty of Yonejima. But in my opinion, the most fascinating thing about the article "Mykonos" is this passage: "This time I met almost no Japanese in Mykonos." The Orientals seen on the island are mostly tourists from China, and from time to time there are some Koreans. I have hardly seen Chinese here before, which makes people feel that the times have really changed. ”

Less than three years after Haruki Murakami wrote this, a lovely Chinese girl came to YoneShima with her parents. The family originally came by plane, but they were obsessed with it, and they never returned. At the same time, they were delighted to find that wherever they went, they had the presence of their compatriots. Yes, China's performance has already amazed the world. Times are really different!
