Kojima Productions, which has set up an office in Tokyo for five years and is currently relocating, said studio owner Hideo Kojima bid farewell to death stranding's production office on a series of tweets Thursday.
"Today is the day we say goodbye to the entrance, the Ludens corridor and the kitchen, which is our home for more than five years," he wrote in a photo of his vacant office posted on social platforms.

As with Kojima's comments on social media, his tweets raise more questions than answers.
Kojima Productions said in October 2020 that they were hiring for a new game project that has yet to be announced. A company may want to move to a larger house, or simply move to a new office that better meets its requirements.
Kojima founded Kojima Productions in 2005, controlled by Konami, where he worked for over 30 years and created the Metal Gear Solid series. After separating from Konami in 2015, he transformed Kojima Productions into an independent studio, supported by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
The company's first game was Death strand, released for PS4 in 2019. The PC version was released in the summer of 2020. Death strand: The Director's Cut took the PS5 by storm last year and was released to PCs on March 30.
Last November, Kojima Productions announced that it had established a TV and film studio in Los Angeles, and Kojima Productions said their work would officially begin this year.
In early 2022, Hideo Kojima laid out his plans for the coming year, including a "radical" new project, as well as experimentation with video and broadcast (he launched a podcast in February).
Earlier this month, Kojima won the highest artistic award from the Japan Agency for Cultural Affairs, and the last time the industry insider won the award was Shigeru Miyamoto, the god of ancient games.
