Recently, Honda released the new Honda HR-V official map in the United States. Judging from the published pictures, the new car is different from other market versions of HR-V, and has been fully upgraded in terms of size and appearance, from the previous Fit platform to the Civic platform, positioned higher than the domestic Binzhi /XR-V on sale, and may be introduced into domestic production in the future.
In the appearance part, the new HR-V of the United States has become more large in size, and the most obvious is the new style design of the front face, which is very different from the design language of the previous honda. The new front face design has a refreshing look, the inside of the net is wavy, the size is not large, with the headlights and the more angular front bumper, very personal but always have a "stitched strange" sense of sight.
On the side of the body, the most obvious change is that the HR-V rear door handle changes back to the traditional door handle, the area of the rear window is wider than that of the old HR-V, coupled with the increase in the size of the vehicle, making the new car look more stable and mature.
Coming to the rear, the new HR-V cancels the through-type taillight design, the shape is also close to the eleventh generation Civic, the interior has also been blackened, adding some sportiness to the rear part, and the L-type taillight strip also echoes the front LED daytime running lights.
The interior part has not yet been released, but it can be speculated that it will probably be similar to the eleventh generation Civic, such as the use of a penetrating air conditioner outlet, the central control screen from embedded to suspended and so on.
Since the new car uses the Civic platform, the rear suspension of the AMERICAN VERSION OF THE HR-V has been upgraded from a non-independent to an independent suspension, and the handling and comfort will be improved.
In terms of power, there is also no mention of any information, but the HR-V currently on sale in the North American market still uses the old set of 1.8L natural suction power, which is obviously not enough in this era. According to foreign media speculation, the US version of HR-V will be equipped with three different powertrains, namely a 1.5T four-cylinder turbo engine with 180 horsepower, a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine with 158 horsepower and a hybrid engine.
On the whole, the U.S. version of the Tian HR-V in terms of design, it seems that it does not cater to the aesthetics of domestic consumers, but if the future domestic sales are bound to form a competitive relationship with the Toyota Corolla Ruifang/Fenglanda that has just been listed, if the price is close, who will you choose?
