However, in the past two years, GUANGQI Honda is not very peaceful, many of its models have been exposed to serious quality problems, "machine throttle", "brake door" and other events have greatly affected its reputation, and GAC Honda has also launched many recalls due to quality problems.
On the third-party car complaint platform Vehicle Quality Network, Guangqi Honda's Accord, Fit, Haoying, Lingpai and other models have all been listed on the February automobile complaint rankings.
Fit failures are frequent
Recently, the most frequently complained about is the Guangqi Honda Fit, which is known as the "civilian supercar", and the problems of the car are mainly concentrated in engine noise, seat failure, body rust, ABS failure and so on.
On March 23, on the car quality network, three car owners complained about the problems of the model. A car owner said that the main driver's seat of the car shook back and forth after two or three years of use, and the tightening screws had no effect at all, and the owner has been using it with safety hazards so far. Recently, the owner of the car heard that it was a seat quality problem and needed to replace the seat bracket to solve it.
There are also car owners who say that there is a quality defect in the cooling fan of the Fit car, the two cooling fans do not turn to cause air conditioning abnormalities, and "the four carbon brush parts in the motor are of inferior quality, and when the heat expands, the serious cracking causes the carbon swipe card to not be able to bounce out of the rail, resulting in the motor can not be powered so it cannot run."
The owner found that the problem he encountered after consulting the relevant forums was not unique, and many car owners had encountered such a situation. Therefore, it is hoped that the manufacturer can assume its due responsibility as in the past and replace it.
In addition, the owner of the car is also plagued by the abnormal sound of the engine, a car owner said on March 21, his Fit car in the parking for a few hours or so ignition start, the engine will appear clicking abnormal sound, after the shutdown and then start to return to normal. Therefore, the owner suspects that the VTC actuator design is defective and asks the manufacturer to replace it for free.
There are not only one model of Fit that has problems in the engine, it is understood that Guangqi Honda Haoying, Binzhi and other models have been complained by car owners because of engine problems.
Among them, Haoying was most complained about the problem of oil emulsification. Some car owners complained on March 20 that when they maintained the Guangqi Honda Haoying they purchased, they found that the oil increased, and there was a significant emulsification phenomenon in the oil mouth, and the gasoline smell was very large. However, the 4s store did not conduct any testing on the oil, which was directly said to be a normal phenomenon, and the manufacturer and after-sales did not give a body reply.
It is understood that the problem of oil emulsification of GUANGQI Honda Haoying has been breeding since January, and the number of complaints continues to rise, and no matter which version of Honda Haoying has this problem. At the beginning, Dongfeng Honda CR-V was suspended because of the problem of oil emulsification, and Guangqi Honda Haoying has not yet given a clear response to this problem.
Accord "Eat Tire"
In addition to Fit, another "star" model of Guangqi Honda, the Accord, was also complained of various quality problems.
Since 2022, there have been 113 complaints about Accord cars on the car quality network, and most of them are concentrated on the 2018 models. The problems involved include tire grinding, component cracking, steering system jams, transmissions, body and other abnormal noises, engine oil leakage, suspension failures, etc.
In the latest complaint, a car owner said that the ten generations of Accord insurance he purchased exercised for 2 years and 11 months, and the rear wheel tire was seriously caused by the explosion during the exercise, and after going to the Honda 4S store, he made 4 rounds of positioning, and the front and back wheels were exchanged, and the problem was still not solved.
After the owner complained 4 times, the 4S shop refused to provide the service on the grounds that it was not a body quality problem, and asked the consumer to provide a third-party suspension system test report. After consultation, the manufacturer provided an authoritative third-party testing agency for quality inspection, but so far there has been no progress in the incident.
Compared with the "tire-eating" problem, the abnormal sound problem spans multiple versions of the Accord in different years. Some car owners reported that the guangqi Honda Accord center console and A-pillar sound were obvious. The owner gave several feedback on the problem, but it was always fruitless.
In addition, on the list of user complaints, you can still see user complaints that accord stall.
It is very dangerous for the highway to suddenly lose power, and the owner loses control of the vehicle, which can easily cause a serious collision and traffic accident. And the braking system of modern cars needs to use vacuum booster pumps, and the pressure of the vacuum booster pump is what the engine provides, once the engine is turned off, the brake system that loses the boost will be useless, and the consequences are unimaginable.
According to relevant information, the products on sale of Accord today are the tenth generation of models launched in 2018, which use a total of three engines, namely the high- and low-power versions of the 1.5-liter turbo engine and the 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine.
However, shortly after the listing of the 10th Generation Accord, a number of consumers complained that the 10th Generation Accord they had just bought stalled on the highway. Subsequently, after the "stall door" of the 10th Generation Accord was exposed by the media, more and more car owners found that the 10th Generation Accord they purchased also had a high-speed stall situation, and these models were mostly concentrated in the fuel version of the model equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine.
Although in August 2019, Guangqi Honda issued a recall plan for the domestic 10th generation Accord, the problem has not been cured. Looking at the problems existing in the 2018 Accord car, there is more than one "stall", so some people in the industry even believe that the 2018 Accord may be suspected of "listing with illness".
Judging from the market performance in recent years, Guangqi Honda's sales have been rising steadily, but the product quality problems of its models cannot be ignored. If the complaint remains high and the owner's problem is not properly resolved, it will inevitably promote a further decline in the reputation of Guangqi Honda.
