The content of Mr. Wang Chuanfu's speech mainly revolves around the theme of "thinking of danger in times of peace, pragmatically forging ahead, and promoting the stable development of new energy vehicle marketization".
In the past two years, new energy vehicles have ushered in a leap in development, supporting the accelerated development of new energy vehicles has become the main purpose of the times, to show you a small data to know how rapid the development of new energy vehicles is. The penetration rate of new energy vehicles in the mainland has exceeded 22% from 6% in January last year to the end of the year, and the penetration rate in the first half of March this year is as high as 28%, and the Chinese people have supported the development of new energy vehicles with their own actual strength.
As the leader of China's electric vehicles, BYD also achieved a new development last year, with BYD Automobile selling 740,000 vehicles and up to 600,000 new energy vehicles in 2021. In the development of traditional cars to new energy vehicles, BYD has achieved a huge leap forward; this year's data is even more terrifying, between January and February, BYD's sales exceeded 180,000 units, a direct increase of 5 times year-on-year.
By the end of February, BYD's new energy vehicles had delivered more than 1.7 million units, and it is expected to reach 2 million by the end of April, adding 1 million new orders in one year. With 9 factories under construction nationwide, 150,000-160,000 new orders per month, and more than 300,000 undelivered orders, BYD's production capacity is still expanding, and strives to meet the needs of all consumers. It can be said that this year's BYD has shown a state of short supply throughout the year, which also shows the popularity of BYD from the side.
So why are BYD cars so popular? I have summarized the following reasons for this:
(1) The development of new energy vehicles is the mainstream of the future, and climate change is sharp on a global scale; carbon neutrality is a global consensus, and in order to achieve carbon neutrality, traditional fuel vehicles must be continuously reduced. Coupled with the global environment this year, oil prices have risen, and the use of new energy vehicles at this time can not only achieve energy savings, but also reduce daily expenses, after all, the cost of trams is lower than that of traditional fuel vehicles.
(2) Insist on innovation, this year BYD with its strong innovation ability, blade battery, DM-i super hybrid, e-platform 3.0 and other subversive technologies, while bringing consumers a new experience at the same time to BYD new energy vehicles to bring a thick and thin development.
(3) Adhere to pure electric and plug-in hybrid two-legged walking, the cost of traditional fuel vehicles is too high, new energy pure electric vehicles have a certain range of anxiety; at this time pure electric vehicles can not meet the needs of some people, then plug-in hybrid is another leg of our travel, both can reduce the cost of short-distance travel, but also will not limit battery anxiety, but also to meet the needs of long-distance travel. BYD's two-legged walking and diversified development have also become a favorable condition for its soaring sales.
For the current development of new energy vehicles, BYD's founders also put forward several developments; including hoping to clarify the preferential policies for new energy vehicles in the post-subsidy era, adhering to pure electric and plug-in hybrid two-legged walking, and adhering to lithium iron phosphate as the correct development path. At the same time, it is also suggested that the layout of the lithium iron phosphate industry can be comprehensively sorted out, the market development can be maintained, and the long-term stable development of the industry can be promoted.
