From the direction of the heart seen in daily life, autistic children use paintbrushes to draw their dreams in their hearts, depict a beautiful vision, convey the voice of the future, and reflect the powerful soul under their young appearance. The content of each painting is their voice: "I" am an autistic, and "I" also have a brilliant and bright future.

I was born in Beijing in 2012. When I was in the second grade of elementary school, my mother showed me images of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and I especially liked the song "Me and You". I asked my mother, "Will Beijing still host the Olympics?" "My mother told me that Beijing will host the Winter Olympics in 2022. After knowing that Beijing was going to host the Winter Olympics, I was very happy, and my mother saw that I was interested in ice and snow sports, so she often took me to experience ice skating and skiing. I also attended the Ice Carnival at the Bird's Nest, and although my first skiing ended in failure due to lack of ski training, I was always holding on to the urge to "not accept defeat". To remember this skiing experience, I often draw paintings related to snow and ice.

After the opening of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, I paid special attention to skiing, and I was both happy and admired to see Gu Ailing's sister's style in the competition. I am proud of my country, I am proud to be Chinese, so I show the skiing project to everyone in the form of fine art. Encouraged by the Olympic spirit, I hope that I will continue to persevere, work hard, not give up, and become a confident, brave and happy primary school student with the help of teachers and classmates.

I went to the Special Education Center with my classmates to see the exhibition, and there was also my personal exhibition here. When the lively and cute paintings are presented in front of me, I can't help but think of my childhood, and every time I put down my brush after painting, I feel extremely proud. I love to draw, and I'll create more with magical brushes.

At school, I was loved by teachers and classmates, and at home, I was praised and appreciated by my parents. I will not live up to everyone's expectations of me, in the beautiful future, I will use love to hold up a blue sky and a shining sun for the children, let the sun shine into the hearts of the children, give them full of love and care; give them spiritual comfort and help, let love nourish their young hearts, let every child grow up and grow up slowly in a comfortable and happy kindergarten.

At the event, every visitor was full of expectations and enthusiasm, not only shocked by the paintings of autistic students, but also surprised by the results of integrated education, so that more special students had a platform to show themselves and the opportunity to speak out.

"Many students with autism have more or less emotional problems and communication barriers, but they can express their emotions in different ways such as painting and playing the piano." Zhang Yaqi, a resource teacher at the Experimental Primary School of Renmin University Affiliated Middle School, said that in the process of contacting students with autism, it is important to understand and accept them with their hearts and give them enough love and respect.

Wang Hongxia, director of the Special Education Center of Haidian District, said that she hopes that through the series of activities of Autism Day, every child with special needs will be respected and get a suitable education in Haidian, "Education needs the collaboration and cooperation of home, school and community, this exhibition is an attempt for our home-school community collaboration, in the future, we will create more opportunities, let more people participate, and jointly create a warm atmosphere, so as to integrate autistic students into society and lay the foundation for society." ”

The students who visited the exhibition also expressed their feelings one after another——

In the process of watching, I saw an autistic child coming from the opposite side, I took the initiative to greet him, and also played a game with him, hoping that everyone would give them more protection and love.

——Ren Zihan

In the activity, I learned about the different difficulties that different people face in their growth. I didn't know much about autistic children before, but in this exhibition, I saw a lot of their works and experienced the rich emotions they wanted to express with their paintings. What touched me the most was the attention and help people paid to children with autism, and the efforts made by the whole society to treat such children. It's a very good feeling. I also realized that I should be more friendly to them, more companionship, and hand in hand to live together under the bright sun.

Previously, my knowledge of children with autism was limited to the relevant movies that teachers showed us, and through this activity, I learned more about them. In the exhibition, I saw a lot of paintings of children with autism, experienced the emotions expressed in the paintings, and realized that we should give them more care and help. In fact, they also have a lot of things worth learning from me, such as their concentration, seriousness and dedication to things, which has a lot of inspiration for my learning. I want to approach them with an appreciative eye, be friends with them, and make progress together.

——Hao Yipeng

The paintings of children with autism are rich in imagination, cute in image, and brightly colored, and in these paintings, I see their rich and delicate inner world. It can be seen that their inner activities are rich and colorful, and they also have many desires for others to understand themselves. I would like to pay more attention to the children around me who are different, communicate with them proactively, and provide them with help within my ability.
