Write at the end:

Today is March 30, World Bipolar Disorder Day. Seeing and talking are all about better understanding.

Here are a few facts about "biphasic"

Bipolar disorder, also known as "bipolar disorder", refers to a type of mood disorder that is clinically both manic or hypomanic and has depressive episodes.

According to the 2019 survey, the prevalence of bipolar in China is about 0.5% to 1%, which means that at least more than 7 million patients live around us.

Bipolar patients are easily misdiagnosed as depression. Of the individuals initially diagnosed with major depression, 12% of patients had a hypomanic episode later in life.

The recurrence rate is high in bipolar patients, with approximately 40% of patients relapsing within 1 year and 73% of patients relapsing within 5 years. Maintenance-phase treatment with mood stabilizers combined with psychotherapy and enhanced social support play an important role in preventing relapse.

Hopefully, we will continue to break down the stigma of bipolar disorder on the basis of scientific evidence.

Mental health disorders are not terrible, nor are they shameful. Everyone's heart deserves respect, understanding, and more patience.
