The data shows that the top three SUV sales in the first two months of this year are still independent brand car companies, and their sales are more than 100,000 vehicles, but sales are not as good as the same period last year. Among them, Changan Automobile's SUV sales of 161,300 units ranked first, down 17.0% year-on-year; Great Wall SUV sales 138583 units, ranking second, down 19.9% year-on-year; Geely Automobile SUV sales of 105246 units, ranking third, down 7.8% year-on-year.
With the rebound in Honda CR-V sales, Dongfeng Honda's cumulative sales of SUVs reached 90,150 units, rising to fourth place, an increase of 18.2% year-on-year. Among them, the cumulative sales of CR-V are 49452 vehicles, and the cumulative sales of XR-V are 32140 vehicles, both of which enter the top ten of the SUV sales list. Guangqi Honda SUV sales have declined, with cumulative SUV sales of 58,653 units from January to February this year, down 16.5% year-on-year, ranking ninth.
Chery Automobile and BYD both sold more than 84,000 SUVs, ranking fifth and sixth, respectively. Among them, Chery Automobile's SUV sales were 84,971 units, a slight increase of 3.2% year-on-year; BYD's SUV sales were 84,018 units, up 220.3% year-on-year, making it the car company with the largest added value of SUV sales.
Compared with the same period last year, SAIC Volkswagen and FAW-Volkswagen's SUV sales increased significantly. Among them, SAIC Volkswagen SUV sales of 66,239 units, ranking seventh, up 97.3% year-on-year; FAW-Volkswagen SUV sales of 55,829 units, ranking tenth, an increase of 87.5% year-on-year.
In terms of luxury brands, the best wholesale sales are Tesla China, although there is only one SUV car company, but its wholesale sales reached 65,700 units, ranking eighth; BMW Brilliance sold 49,322 SUV units, ranking fifteenth, an increase of 6.1%; Beijing Benz followed closely behind, ranking sixteenth with sales of 48,115 units, an increase of 14.6%; FAW-Volkswagen Audi ranked seventeenth, with cumulative sales of 41,623 SUVs, down 24.2% year-on-year.
