1. Due date monitoring

2. Sow prenatal symptom monitoring

Two weeks before the sow gives birth, the breast will gradually expand from the back to the front, and there will be a clear boundary between the base of the breast and the abdomen;

4. Vulva monitoring

5. Monitoring of the pelagic part

About 7-14 days before the sow gives birth, the disc ligament gradually softens, until 12-36 hours before delivery, the posterior edge of the ligament begins to become very soft, and the shape gradually disappears to be soft near the tail root, until the tail root collapses, indicating that the sow is about to give birth.

6. Amniotic fluid monitoring

This is the most critical signal for sows to give birth, about 0.5 hours after breaking the amniotic fluid.

7. Litter monitoring

In the process of sow littering, it is necessary to record the time of littering, monitor the sow delivery status and the interval between litters, and timely detect difficult births and assist in childbirth.
