Zhou Shifeng
Born in Wuhan in 1962. Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Painting of the China Academy of Arts, (former Vice President of the Hubei Academy of Fine Arts), first-class artist, master tutor. He is a member of the China Artists Association, a member of the Academic Committee of the Heshan Painting Society of the China Artists Association, a director of the Chinese Culture Promotion Association, the deputy director of the Calligraphy and Painting Professional Committee, and the vice president of the Calligraphy and Painting Professional Committee of the China Arts and Crafts Society.
His works have won the Second National Academy of Painting Academic Award sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the Fourth National Academy of Painting Excellent Works Exhibition Academy Award, the First National Landscape Painting Exhibition Excellent Work Award, the First Chinese Freehand Painting Exhibition Excellent Work Award, and the Second National Chinese Painting Exhibition Silver Award sponsored by the China Artists Association. It was selected for the 11th National Art Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Army. His works participated in the "Along the Ancients to the Present -- 2019" and "City Landscape -- 2021" National Higher Art College Landscape Painting Creation and Teaching Seminar and Teachers' and Students' Works Exhibition. The work "Yellow River Dancing Moon" was selected into the exhibition of national major theme Yellow River cultural theme art works sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. "Smoke Locks and Clear Light" participated in the National Invitation Exhibition of Fine Arts Works sponsored by the Propaganda Department of Wuhan Municipality, a century of glory and memories of Wuhan, which celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. In 2021, he was selected as one of the top ten outstanding alumni by Jianghan University. He has hosted the "Exhibition of Zhou Shifeng's Works" sponsored by the Chinese Painting Society, and the China Academy of Art has hosted a series of exhibitions of young and middle-aged artists at the National Art Museum of China, "Shui Qinlan Zhou Shifeng Works Exhibition".
He has published more than ten paintings such as "Zhou Shifeng Light Smoke Landscape", "Artist Series of China Academy of Arts - Zhou Shifeng", "Series of Young and Middle-aged Artists of China Academy of Art - Zhou Shifeng", "Selection of Works of Zhou Shifeng - Selection of Teaching Models of Chinese Higher Art Colleges" and so on.
