This Xuan Paper Culture and Art Festival is a sub-venue activity of the 11th Wenfang Four Treasures Cultural Tourism Festival, the activity lasts for three days, including the opening ceremony of the Xuan Paper Culture and Art Festival and the opening ceremony of China Xuan Paper Town, the summit seminar of "Xuan Paper China and Contemporary Life Aesthetics", the award ceremony of the Jing County Cultural and Creative Products Competition, and the launch ceremony of the trial version of One Code Youjing County, which is a grand event of rice paper culture and art integrating culture, expo, art, economy and trade, tourism and other activities.
Viewed from the air, the Chinese Xuan Paper Town is like a mountain of rice paper, "built into walls, rolled into mountains, hanging curtains like smoke, and swimming platforms like water". The magnificent architecture blends seamlessly with the natural environment, and the design of the building incorporates elements of Chinese ink painting, creating an immersive experience for visitors as if walking in ink painting.
Xuanpaper Town is the first batch of provincial-level characteristic towns in Anhui Province, and is an important carrier for the gathering and upgrading of the Xuan paper industry, the cross-border integration of business formats, and the innovation and development of industry. With the existing China Xuan Paper Co., Ltd. and China Xuan Paper Museum and Cultural Park as the core, the project has a total investment of 829 million yuan and covers an area of about 2.83 square kilometers, with the goal of "Chinese characteristics and the only one in the world", highlighting the characteristics of rice paper and intangible cultural heritage, gathering and upgrading the four treasures of rice paper and literature, attracting a group of calligraphy and painting artists to settle in the town, and building a number of art galleries and exhibition halls.

Jing County seized the development opportunity of 23 policies and measures to support the high-quality development of the rice paper industry, effectively put the development of the rice paper cultural industry in a prominent position, based on the advantages of cultural resources, promote the deep integration of the rice paper industry with global tourism, the Internet, cultural creativity, etc., and illuminate the road of high-quality development with the light of brilliant culture.
Since 2021, Jing County has been ranked among the "Top 100 Counties in China with Comprehensive Tourism Strength" for three consecutive years, and in 2023, the geographical indication of "Jing County Xuan Paper" was selected into the second batch of key links and guidance list for the use of geographical indications by the State Intellectual Property Office, and Xuan Paper Cultural Park was selected as the "National Industrial Tourism Demonstration Base". The creative innovation project declared by China Xuan Paper Co., Ltd. won the first prize at the first Cultural and Creative Innovation Project Competition of the Four Treasures of Wenfang in Xuancheng. The holding of this Xuan Paper Culture and Art Festival aims to further expand and strengthen the brand of "Hometown of Chinese Xuan Paper" and "Landscape Painting Scroll on Xuan Paper", promote foreign exchanges and cooperation in the county's economy and cultural tourism, display the achievements of economic development and social progress in Jing County in the past two years, and promote the higher quality development of culture and tourism in the county.
