When I was in high school, I had a special love for cursive, its line, sometimes passionate, sometimes simple and quiet, its ink, or thick, or dry, the exquisite picture scroll composed of five colors deeply attracted me, although I did not delve into it from then, but quietly buried the ideal of cursive in my heart...
Zhao Zhen, born in 1995 in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, is a full-time calligrapher at suqian Painting Institute. He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the China Yuelian Society, a member of the Xingcao Committee of the Jiangsu Young Calligraphers Association, a special calligrapher of the Jiangsu Provincial Book Court, a special teacher of Dunhuang College of Northwest Normal University, a special teacher of the School of Calligraphy of Beijing University of Humanities, and a special teacher of Hebei Academy of Fine Arts. In 2017 and 2019, he held a personal calligraphy exhibition, and his works and theories were scattered in professional journals such as "Calligraphy", "Calligraphy Newspaper", "Calligraphy Herald", "China Calligraphy Newspaper", "Calligraphy and Painting Art", "Yangzi Collection" and so on.

Cursive writing needs style, style is a high degree of condensation and sublimation of classic aesthetics, layout, charm, rhythm, indispensable! When we are accustomed to seeing and practicing the so-called "heavy ink and lively and extraordinary", looking for another quiet expression, it is a new and important topic to express the "vivid charm" and "quiet movement" of cursive on the basis of technique washing.
