At present, the plug-in hybrid model can not only be on the green card, enjoy the preferential policies of new energy vehicles, and there is no anxiety of pure electric vehicles, so it is popular.
And this segment is BYD's world, in the mainstream price of 10-15 million family cars, there are Qin PLUS DM-i and Destroyer 05 two models. Of course, competitors are also following suit, such as Changan's UNI-V iDD.

BYD Qin PLUS DM-i
The first thing to say is qin PLUS DM-i, it is the pioneering work of the BYD DM-i series, once listed, it is highly sought after, more than 190,000 vehicles were sold in 2021, and now the monthly sales have stabilized at 20,000+, and a large number of orders are in hand, if the production capacity should be able to rush to 30,000 vehicles and enter the first camp of cars.
Qin PLUS DM-i provides two battery capacity models of 18.32kWh and 8.32kWh, corresponding to a pure electric cruising range of 120km and 55km, respectively. The engine is a Snap Cloud-Plug Hybrid 1.5L high-efficiency engine with a thermal efficiency of up to 43.04%. Batteries are blade batteries that are known for their safety.
The biggest feature is that electricity is supplemented by the main oil, and its 120km version of the front motor parameters reach 145kW and 325N·m, which can break 100 in 7.3 seconds, while the fuel consumption of 100 kilometers in the hybrid state is only 3.8L. Moreover, the price of Qin PLUS DM-i is only 111,800-151,800 yuan, although it is up 6,000 yuan from last year, but it is still very price-competitive with the joint venture competitors, so it is still difficult to find a car.
BYD destroyer 05
That's right, BYD. Based on the two-car strategy of Dynasty Network and Ocean Network, BYD has launched a destroyer 05, with a price range of 119,800-155,800 yuan, the price is much more expensive than Qin PLUS DM-i, of course, the positioning of the car is also higher, and the design style is different.
However, from the body size point of view, the destroyer 05 is the Qin PLUS DM-i hull car, its length, width and height are 4780/1837/1495mm, wheelbase is 2718mm, in addition to the length of the body length increased by 15mm, Qin PLUS DM-i is 4765mm, the rest are the same. Including the power system is also completely copied.
The difference between the two is mainly reflected in the front face, the destroyer 05 adopts a design language different from the Dynasty series, with a borderless grille, staggered chrome bars, and a lattice on both sides, forming a more complex geometry. Overall, the front face of the destroyer 05 is more stylish and atmospheric than the Qin PLUS.
Changan UNI-V iDD

BYD's hybrid is called DM-i, Chang'an's hybrid is called iDD, and the official said that the hybrid system has a maximum pure electric endurance of up to 130km, more than 120km of BYD's peers.
In terms of power, it is expected to follow the iDD hybrid system on the UNI-K plug-in hybrid version, equipped with a 1.5T engine + drive motor, the maximum horsepower of the engine is 166Ps, the peak torque is 255N·m, and the maximum power of the drive motor is 85kW, which is matched by a 6-speed three-clutch electric drive transmission.
In terms of fuel consumption, it is only 5L per 100 kilometers in a hybrid state. Of course, the specific performance can not be determined until the actual car is on the market.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the reference fuel version models are 4680/1838/1430mm, and the wheelbase is 2750mm. In terms of design, it is basically the same as the UNI-V fuel version, but there will be differences in details, and like the Changan UNI-K plug-in version, it will have the hybrid logo of iDD at the end, and the interior will also add a small fresh color.
