A few days ago, Aston Martin officially released the new V12 model of the Vantage series, which may be the last model of Aston Martin equipped with AV12 engine, limited to 333 units, but according to foreign media, these 333 cars have all been sold out, and then will be delivered in the second quarter. At present, Aston Martin Vantage only offers models equipped with 4.0T V8 engines in China, and the official guided price range of 2023 models is 1.758 million yuan to 2.168 million yuan.
From the appearance point of view, the V12 Vantage has increased the size of the forward grille on the basis of the V8 Vantage, which is not only to meet the air intake and heat dissipation needs required by the V12 engine, but also to form an appearance difference with the V8 version. The new car is equipped with 21-inch wheels and Michelin Pilot 4S tires, with a front wheel size of 275/35 R21 and a rear wheel size of 315/30 R21.
The V12 Vantage is fitted with a new body kit with a more aggressive aerodynamic styling, including cabin vents, lower spoiler for the front bumper, side skirt, wide body, large size spoiler and more. At the same time, the exhaust system of the car adopts a mid-mounted double-out layout, which is different from the bilateral four-out exhaust of the V8 version.
In terms of power, the V12 engine has a displacement of 5.2L, and adopts twin-turbo technology, the transmission system matches the 8-speed manual transmission, the maximum power can reach 515kW, the peak torque is 753N·m, zero hundred acceleration only takes 3.5s to complete, and the maximum speed can reach 322km/h.
With the continuous advancement of the new energy tide, supercar companies can not always adhere to the field of large displacement, it is currently known that in the next few years will launch V12 engine models of supercar brands only Lamborghini, and Aston Martin will henceforth be transformed into pure electric and hybrid fields, pure fuel models will not account for a large proportion of the product matrix.
