A few days ago, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage officially made its world debut, it is the fastest and most powerful Vantage model ever. The new car is equipped with an exciting 5.2T V12 twin-turbo engine that can burst out a maximum power of 700PS (514 kW) and a peak torque of 753 N·m, and with the combination of 8AT, the official 0-100 km/h acceleration takes only 3.5 seconds. The new car will be delivered in the second quarter of this year, and as the final version of the model, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage is limited to 333 units worldwide.
In order to better utilize the performance of the V12, the new car is equipped with a new adaptive damping suspension system, including: new anti-roll bars, bushings, springs, dampers and so on. Among them, the K value of the front suspension spring increased by 50%, the rear suspension increased by 40%, the top stiffness of the suspension tower increased by 13%, the hardness of the front anti-roll rod increased by 5%, and the hardness of the rear anti-roll rod increased by 41%. Auxiliary springs are added to the rear suspension of the new car to provide better ride comfort.
The V12 Vantage has an even more insane aerodynamic package than the V8 model. Among them, the forward grille and carbon fiber front lip size have been upgraded to the maximum; the engine hatch is designed with an air bridge to guide more airflow into the front of the car to dissipate heat for the engine; the rear of the front fenders is designed with new ventilation holes to reduce the air pressure in the front arch and reduce lift; the rear carbon fiber spoiler can generate 204kg downforce at extreme speed; the bottom carbon fiber diffuser and the mid-mounted dual exhaust at the rear of the car highlight the ultimate sporty properties; and the wide-body kit adds 40mm width to the body for improved dynamic stability. In addition, the new car is equipped with 21-inch rims and four carbon ceramic brakes at the front six rear.
The interior of the V12 Vantage seems convergent, but more radical. The interior of the whole vehicle is almost all carbon fiber, not only the carbon fiber material trim used on the center console and steering wheel, but also the steering wheel paddle shifter, air conditioning outlet, etc. are also replaced by carbon fiber material; what is more, the new car is also equipped with ultra-thin carbon fiber barrel seats, which is expensive.
