On March 17, Audi Group held a financial report press conference, data show that Audi Group delivered a total of 1,688,978 vehicles worldwide, down 0.7% year-on-year; of which the Audi brand delivered 1,680,512 vehicles worldwide, down 0.7% year-on-year; Lamborghini delivered 8,405 vehicles, an increase of 13.1% year-on-year, a record high. In addition, Ducati motorcycles sold 59,447 units in the full year, an increase of 23.7% year-on-year.
Total Audi Group revenues reached 53,068 million euros (approximately 372.3 billion yuan), an increase of 6.2% year-on-year. The Group's net profit doubled to 5.498 billion euros (about 38.5 billion yuan), a 114% increase! Profit margins grew from 5.1% in 2020 to 10.4%.
In 2021, audi group sales in China 727,000 vehicles, of which FAW-Volkswagen Audi contributed the vast majority of sales, China also continued to maintain Audi's largest single market in the world.
In 2021, Audi invested 3.93 billion euros in research and development, accounting for 7.4% of total revenue. Audi's net cash flow was €7,759 million, up 69 percent from €4,589 million in 2020. The next 3 billion euros will be used for digital construction, and Audi has sufficient financial reserves to meet the challenges of electrification and intelligence.
Audi said that by 2026, more than 20 new electric models will be launched, of which 10 new cars will be for the Chinese market, including pure electric models such as e-tron GT, A4 and A6. In 2022, Audi's full-year sales target is 1.8-1.9 million units, but it may be affected by uncertainties such as war and epidemics.
