The timing of vehicle turning and merging is more accurate, thereby reducing unnecessary braking, and improving the system's understanding of "right of way" in the case of inaccurate map information. In particular, the modeling of intersections was changed to be based entirely on neural networks, eliminating the previous map-based heuristic approach;

The detection accuracy of VRU (vulnerable road users) was improved by 44.9%, and by increasing the amount of data of the new generation of automatic labeling, the neural network parameters that had been frozen before were trained, and the network loss function was adjusted, which significantly reduced the false reporting of pedestrians and bicycles in scenarios such as asphalt seams, brake marks, and wet and slippery days in rain, and the prediction speed error of motorcycles, battery cars, wheelchairs and pedestrians very close to the bicycle was reduced by 63.6%.

After this version update, Tesla CEO Musk said on Twitter: "Predicting lanes in vector space is an architectural design update of great significance to Tesla AI." Musk also said that if the v10.11 version goes well, the plan will lower the threshold for receiving pushes (safe driving score) from 98 points to 95 points.

On March 11, Volkswagen Group released its 2021 financial data.
