In order to meet the personalized customization needs of consumers of Jaguar and Land Rover, two luxury car brands, and digitally empower intelligent manufacturing, Chery Jaguar Land Rover has realized tailor-made order production, which can easily handle 300,000 personalized optional configurations. When the customer selects the relevant configuration, the system will generate a fully customized vehicle SuperBOM. Orders are collected and aggregated by a global dealer ordering system based in the UK and then sent via the PLO Pipeline Ordering system to SAP systems covering R&D, manufacturing, logistics, finance, purchasing, sales and after-sales. With "one vehicle, one order" in the production process, Chery Jaguar Land Rover is able to efficiently and accurately execute complex and diverse order production.

In the face of the wave of the era of electrification, in order to ensure the "intelligent" manufacturing of new energy vehicles, Changshu production base also further deepens the application of the industrial Internet, adding high-voltage batteries, motors, controllers, high-voltage wiring harnesses and other high-voltage parts traceability system to ensure the full traceability of the manufacturing of ten categories of high-voltage parts. Not only that, Chery Jaguar Land Rover has built a final assembly parts selection error-proofing system linked with the factory intelligent logistics system to further reduce labor intensity and error rate. In order to further ensure the hard-core quality of the product, in addition to the conventional vehicle assembly control points, the Changshu production base has added 69 servo tool control programs to control the key torques of plug-in hybrid models and trace the results, so as to ensure the excellent quality of new energy products in an all-round way.

In order to shorten the project duration and increase the output rate, Chery Jaguar Land Rover Changshu plant also applied a number of digital simulation technologies. With discrete event simulation, Chery Jaguar Land Rover can calculate production beats, verify production capacity and even verify product feasibility during the design phase before the production line is set up. Before installing the equipment, chery Jaguar Land Rover can first simulate and evaluate the mechanical and electrical systems, and simulate the welding process and painting process before implementing the welding process. Through the effective use of many simulation technologies, Chery Jaguar Land Rover has greatly reduced the cost of car construction and parts loss in the production stage, and also ensured the delivery time and delivery quality.
