Wang Meiyan, born in 1989 in Yuncheng, Shandong, graduated from Shandong Academy of Arts with a bachelor's degree in 2011 and from Shandong Academy of Arts with a master's degree in 2014. He is a member of the Chinese National Painters Association, a member of the Beijing Gongbi Heavy Color Painting Society, a director of the Shandong Provincial Chinese Painting Society, a director of the Shandong Young Artists Association, a member of the Shandong Provincial Women Calligraphers and Painters Association, a painter hired by the Shandong Academy of Painting Academy, and a painter employed by the Academy of Calligraphy and Painting of China Painting and Calligraphy Magazine. He is currently working at the Shandong Academy of Painting.

The most distinctive feature of Wang Meiyan's paintings is the atmosphere of books that come to the face and fill the picture. Song Ren Deng Chun once put forward the view of "painter, wen zhi ji ye" in "Painting Succession", and it is precisely by adhering to this creative road that not only pays attention to the development of the times, but also based on the cultivation of traditional culture, which makes her gradually form a unique artistic style among painters of the same age.
At the same time, Wang Meiyan is also an excellent dreamer. She places the birds, flowers, and rocks in the main body of the painting in a lonely or empty background, and strives to set off a dreamy atmosphere like a moonlight shroud and a misty light. Over time, the viewer can easily fall into the dream she has woven, producing a sense of similarity between ancient and modern times, and the present and the future.
