Huang Xian'an, born in Beijing in 1948, learned to paint with his father since childhood, is famous for painting horses, and is one of the 100 outstanding painters in the contemporary painting world. He is currently a member of the China Artists Association in Jiangsu, the vice president of the East China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, the vice president of the Nanjing Plum Blossom Art Research Association, the chairman of the Nanjing Jinling Six Dynasties Calligraphy and Painting Garden, the honorary president of the Nanjing Xinzhuxuan Painting Institute, and the director of the Jiusan Painting Institute of Jiangsu Province.
He has held more than a dozen solo exhibitions at home and abroad, and dozens of newspapers at home and abroad have made special reports on his art. In the first half of 1997, at the invitation of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, he went to Beijing to create a huge painting for the "Return of 1997"... His works have won many awards in domestic and foreign calligraphy and painting competitions and are widely collected.
