Mr. Ye Jiaying, who is currently the director of the Institute of Chinese Poetry and Classical Culture at Nankai University, was born in July 1924 and is 99 years old this year. In 1945, Mr. Ye Jiaying graduated from the Department of Chinese Literature of Fu Jen University in Beijing. Since 1979, Mr. Ye has returned to China to teach every year, and has been invited to teach Classical Chinese poetry in more than 40 domestic colleges and universities across the country, and finally she chose to teach and settle in Nankai University, integrating her hometown roots into the fertile soil of Nankai. Because at the request of the editorial board of "For There Are Lotus Flowers To Call Me - Ye Jiaying in Nankai", Ye Yancai wrote an article about his aunt Ye Jiaying, but it was written, far exceeding the number of words in the draft. As a result, there is this book "with Aunt Ye Jiaying".
Liu Chang, editor of the People's Publishing House and responsible editor of the book, told the Nanfang Daily reporter that the word count of the book "Me and My Aunt Ye Jiaying" is about half the length of the article included in "Calling Me for Lotus Flowers - Ye Jiaying in Nankai", and the content is also richer.
