On the outside, the new car adopts the current G28 generation 3 series styling design, while some of the core features of the BMW i brand have also been fully brought in. These include a fully enclosed double kidney grille with blue trim that is very prominent on the front face, a low-wind resistance wheel with larger coverage, and so on.
In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4872/1846/1481mm, and the wheelbase is 2966mm, which is very close to the data of the current 3 series long axis version, which will provide better rear space performance.
In the rear part, the overall design continues the shape of the current 3 Series, but some details have been modified, such as a new design under the bumper, and the addition of blue decorative strips.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 250 kW and a maximum torque of 410 N·m, and is expected to be the most powerful model in the three series. The power battery capacity is not disclosed, but the energy density of the battery system is 138Wh/kg. In terms of endurance, the new car reached 526 kilometers, and the electricity consumption of 100 kilometers under working conditions was 14.3kWh.
At present, bmw pure electric vehicles on sale in China include iX3, imported i4 and iX models, and in the future, BMW Brilliance i3 will be produced together with iX3 in Shenyang factory. In terms of price, the new car must be more cost-effective than the imported i4 model (the price of the i4 model is 449,900-539,900 yuan). In addition, according to the pricing strategy of the 3 Series and X3 models, the upcoming BMW Brilliance i3 will have a lower entry price than the iX3.
