The new H5 has a significant upgrade in power, which cancels the powertrain of the current 1.8T+6AT and replaces it with 2.0T+8AT, the engine data is stronger than the BMW 3 Series 325, the 8AT has the characteristics of smooth shifting and high transmission efficiency compared to the 6AT, and the fuel consumption does not rise and fall after switching to a larger engine.
The new generation H5 uses the same 2.0T engine as the HS5, the drivetrain is upgraded to an 8AT gearbox, and with reference to the 8AT adapted to the HS7 3.0T of the family, it is expected that the 8AT transmission of the new generation H5 will also be supplied by Aisin. The 8AT gearbox has the characteristics of smoother gear change and higher transmission efficiency, because the deceleration ratio range is wider, and at the same speed, the 8AT gearbox can exchange higher gears for lower speeds, which can effectively suppress the jitter at low speeds.
In addition to the power combination of 2.0T+8AT, the new car will continue to provide a 1.5T version, and the power parameters have been lowered from the current model. In addition, the HEV version will be launched, based on the 1.5T version, adding dual motors, and is expected to adopt the structure of P0 +P2, and the fuel consumption under the NEDC standard is 5.1±0.2L/100km.
