Too wild! Have you ever seen a 6AT/600 hp pure electric wrangler?

The electrification of automobiles has swept the world, and Jeep, who has been deeply involved in the off-road field, is no exception.

On April 8, at the Easter Jeep Safari off-road conference in Moab, Utah, Jeep brought 10 new concept cars in one go.

In addition to having many deeply modified concept cars that expand the blood of off-road fans, there is also no shortage of future-oriented electrified concept products.

Today, we have selected a few models that we think are the most representative, and we will take a look at them.

Too wild! Have you ever seen a 6AT/600 hp pure electric wrangler?

(1) Wrangler Magneto 2.0 concept car, pure electric "Magneto" with 6AT!

The Wrangler Magneto 2.0, released at the Easter Jeep Safari off-road conference, is an upgraded version of Magneto, which debuted last year.

Too wild! Have you ever seen a 6AT/600 hp pure electric wrangler?

Its power system mainly has the following characteristics:

Proprietaryly developed axial flux motor with a maximum speed of 5,250 rpm

The six-speed manual transmission complements the pure electric drive system for the ultimate driving experience

In order to achieve a balanced front-to-rear counterweight ratio, four lithium-ion battery packs with a total capacity of 70 kWh are rationally arranged on the chassis, with an 800-volt voltage system

When an electric motor powered by advanced technology operates, an inverter derived from a racing car converts direct current into alternating current

Magneto 2.0 instantly delivers up to 850 pound-feet of peak torque to the wheels, more than three times the concept car launched last year. When tackling the challenge of rock climbing, a maximum output of 625 horsepower can burst out.

How, has this data already made you jaw dropping?

Not only that, but magneto 2.0's peak current can last up to 10 seconds, acting like electron nitrous oxide, helping the concept car accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2 seconds.

The first gear ratio of the manual transmission has also been optimized from 5.13 to 3.36. Combined with the Rock-Trac transfer case used by Wrangler Rubicon, it gives the Magneto 2.0 concept car outstanding rock climbing prowess while also achieving instantaneous on-demand distribution of torque. The driver can choose the new strong kinetic energy recovery mode of the pure electric drive system to experience a true "single pedal" driving experience.

(2) Grand Cherokee Trailhawk PHEV concept car, the Land Patrol also has to pull aside

Although Jeep had officially launched the Grand Cherokee 4xe before this off-road conference, jeep has further upgraded the Grand Cherokee 4xe production car with this Easter Jeep Safari off-road conference.

Like the all-new production Grand Cherokee 4xe, the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk PHEV concept is equipped with two electric motors, a 400-volt battery pack, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.

The famous Jeep Quadra-Lift four-wheel independent air suspension is naturally inherited. In addition, the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk PHEV is equipped with a class-specific anti-roll bar disconnect system that helps to further improve the vehicle's articulation and traction performance in rocky and rough terrain.

Paired with an industrial blue exterior lacquer finish, the iconic 4xe Lake Blue Tow hook and anti-glare black blue matte Trailhawk hood stickers. If the Greater Cherokee Trailhawk PHEV can be mass-produced and introduced into China, it is believed that it will soon be sold out.

(3) Jeep '41 concept car, paying tribute to more than 80 years of classics

Also noteworthy is the Jeep '41 concept car based on the Wrangler 4xe.

"Since 1941", the decorative details of the Jeep brand models are particularly eye-catching. This nameplate is a symbol of glory and pride, and has witnessed the Excellence of the Jeep brand for more than 80 years.

The legacy of this concept model can be traced back to the original Willis MB , a highly reliable 4x4 four-wheel drive model specially built according to the requirements of the military. The Willis MB's combined strength and all-terrain capabilities had a significant impact on the 4x4 all-wheel drive model that came out later.

The concept car's 4xe plug-in hybrid system delivers efficient fuel economy, delivering up to 21 miles of virtually noise-free, zero-emission pure electric power, making it the Wrangler with greater terrain capabilities, more advanced technology and more environmentally friendly terrain to date.

The Wrangler 4xe's advanced powertrain provides motorists with a unique road and full-terrain experience by combining two electric motors, a high-voltage battery pack, a high-tech 2.0-litre turbocharged I-4 engine and a powerful TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.

(4) Kung Fu shooting

According to Jeep, some of the concept cars unveiled at the Easter Jeep Safari off-road conference will come to China at the conference to provide demonstrations to China's Jeeper.

Through this conference, we can not only feel Jeep's latest innovations in off-road modification and product development, but also get a glimpse of the ideas that Jeep may use in the future of product electrification, especially when creating hard-core electrified models.
