Recently, according to data released by CLEAN TECHNICA, the number of new energy vehicle registrations in January was more than 603,000, an increase of 87% year-on-year, and the Chinese market is the main driving force for growth.
In the global new energy sales list in January, BYD led Tesla by a large margin with 93,263 vehicles and won the title of global new energy sales champion.
Specifically, BYD ranked first with sales of 93,263 vehicles, followed by Tesla with 51,302 vehicles, BYD took a Chinese market to fight Tesla's global market, and SAIC-GM-Wuling, BMW, and Volkswagen were third and fifth, respectively.
In addition, the january sales list of new energy models was also released, and Tesla Model Y won the title of global sales champion with a sales performance of 32,700 vehicles.
Wuling Hongguang MINI EV ranked second with 26,682 deliveries, but the Hongguang MINI EV relies on the Single Market of China, while the Tesla Model Y is the global market.
BYD Qin Plus DM-i ranked third, delivering 18,449 units in January, and Song Plus DM-i ranked fourth, surpassing fifth-place Tesla Model 3.
