The reason why "polygamy" is accepted in Thailand is that it is still a custom of folk acquiescence today, and it is also because of this character. Women in "polygamy" do not feel faceless, but on the contrary, they feel fortunate that they are married to a high-status, wealthy husband. It will not be looked down upon because in the eyes of others, this is a realistic choice.
Finally, there is a rumor on the Internet that there is a saying on the Internet that "polygamy" in Thailand is because there are more women and fewer men, and there are many men who have become demons, so women can't do it. This is wrong. Thailand's current male-to-female ratio is 94.79 to 100, which is not a "male-female imbalance" at all, because women generally live longer and the ratio of men to women at the marriageable stage should be more reasonable.
As for because many men go to be demons, it also belongs to "opening their mouths and coming". Thailand's total population is 69.8 million, and according to statistics, the number of demons is about 100,000, and this number will not have a great impact on the "ratio of men and women".
