According to A report by The Elec, Samsung Display and LG Display have received approval to produce OLED screens for the iPhone 16 Pro series, which marks the imminent start of production preparations for the iPhone 16 Pro.

According to the report, Samsung Display has previously received approval to produce screens for the standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, while the Plus and Pro Max versions are also about to be approved.

It is worth noting that the iPhone 16 Pro's screen technology has been upgraded compared to the iPhone 15 Pro, and it will use Bezel Reduction Structure (BRS) technology, which reduces the bezel width to less than 1.5mm, which will be Apple's narrowest bezel flagship phone to date.

For comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro has a bezel width of 1.5mm, while the iPhone 14 Pro has a bezel width of 2.2mm.
