As the first model of the WARSHIP series of the BYD Marine series built with DM-i, the Destroyer 05 has received high attention in the market since its official release at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November last year. On February 22, we obtained some configuration information about the new car from the official, the new car will only provide DM-i a power choice, the future price is expected to be between 120,000 and 150,000 yuan. It is reported that the new car is expected to be officially listed in the first quarter and sold on the ocean network.
First of all, in terms of appearance, the new car is based on BYD's "marine aesthetics" design concept, which is different from the Dynasty series and the e-net series models because of the new design language. The large-area bezel-less grille with multi-banner mid-mesh design, as well as the new enclosed LOGO and the two side headlights form a through-design, making it look quite young and have a high degree of recognition.
According to the configuration table information, the new car series will provide 5 configuration models, all equipped with BYD DM-i super hybrid system, while non-operating vehicles provide a lifetime warranty of the three-electric system, and the whole vehicle will be repaired for 6 years or 150,000 kilometers. In terms of body size, the new car is 4780/1837/1495mm in length and width, and the wheelbase is 2718mm, which is slightly improved compared with Qin PLUS in length.
In the rear part of the car, the new car adopts a through-type taillight design, which shows a stronger sense of technology compared to the Qin PLUS DM-i, which changes from an all-red background to a black and transparent through-type taillight. At the same time, the logo of destroyer 05 and DM-i in the lower left corner of the tail box is printed, which brings greater recognition to itself.
As the first model of the Marine Network warship series, the new car is still different from other models in the interior design, and the new design language makes it look more youthful and technological. In terms of details, the new car is equipped with an 8.8-inch full LCD display and a new style of three-frame steering wheel. In addition, the lines of the instrument panel extend to the door panels on both sides, bringing a strong atmosphere of encirclement to the car, with the penetrating chrome trim, which has also been improved in terms of layering, and the air conditioning outlets with the "ship jump" design on both sides are embellished with pink trim strips, adding a bit of fashion.
In other aspects, in addition to the two models of the premium and flagship models, the new car is equipped with a 12.8-inch rotatable central control screen as standard, while the two top models are equipped with a 15.6-inch rotatable central control screen. At the same time, the new car will be equipped with intelligent voice interaction system, OTA remote upgrade, external rearview mirror electric heating defrost, keyless entry, one-click start, mobile phone NFC car key, intelligent remote control driving, remote control to start the vehicle, etc., the overall performance in terms of configuration is still quite generous.
In addition, on the two top models of the premium and flagship models, it will also be equipped with dual-zone automatic air conditioning, and on the prestige version and flagship version, it will also support the VTOL mobile power station with external output of 220V discharge.
In terms of safety configuration, the premium and flagship models of the new car are equipped with DiPilot intelligent driver assistance system, including full-speed adaptive cruise system, active lane keeping system, lane departure warning system, traffic sign intelligent identification system, intelligent far and near light system, automatic emergency braking system and other configurations. But it is a pity that one of the other configuration models is not equipped, and the performance in this regard is slightly lacking.
In terms of power, according to the configuration table, it can be seen that the new car will be equipped with a 1.5L Snap Cloud plug-in hybrid engine and a DM-i plug-in hybrid system, of which the maximum engine power is 110 horsepower. In addition, the new car is also equipped with a blade battery dedicated to the DM-i system, with a battery capacity of 8.32 kWh and 18.32 kWh, the WLTC's comprehensive pure electric mileage is 46 km and 101 km, and the acceleration time of 100 km/h is 7.9 seconds and 7.3 seconds. Among them, the performance of pure electric endurance has weakened compared with Qin PLUS.
