Non-eligible Win10 devices rise Win11: Microsoft This means is really unhappy to play a watermark on the desktop

For those users who don't meet the conditions for Windows 10 devices to upgrade Windows 11, Microsoft is testing new means, which is really embarrassing.

If your device isn't eligible for an upgrade, but you've already upgraded to Windows 11, you'll soon notice a new watermark on your desktop. This watermark appears above the taskbar clock, similar to the "Windows not activated" alert, but it doesn't affect the app, window, or web browser.

The watermark on the desktop simply says "system requirements not met," which may irritate some users because it looks really unpleasant.

Currently, you'll find these warnings in two places – desktop and settings applications. So far, these notifications can be safely ignored, and they don't affect the entire user experience because the watermark is limited to the desktop or settings page. There is no indication that Microsoft is planning to display an "unsupported device" alert above an open app.

Microsoft also implemented a pop-up window when installing the operating system that tells users about the disadvantages of installing Windows 11 on PCs that fail to meet the minimum specifications. The pop-up makes it clear that if you continue to install Windows 11 on an unsupported PC, you may have compatibility issues, "possible damage," and other issues.
