At the press conference, Guo Meixia from the Publicity department of the Palace Museum and Ding Haixiu of the Tourism Education Publishing House shared the history and publishing background of the book planning and creation. Introduce the creative concept, main content and value transmission of picture books, combined with the instruction manual attached to the book, and analyze the educational opportunities that this set of picture books brings to children readers at the level of knowledge, skills and values.

Through the audio theater, the authors of the picture book of the Palace Museum's Propaganda Department performed "The Little Gear Slipped Away" for the audience, leading everyone into one of the picture book stories themed with clocks and watches. During the performance, the authors transformed into characters in the picture book, telling the escape experience of the small gears with their voices behind the scenes, and displaying the mechanical special effects of the clocks on the stage screen, vividly reproducing the scene of the Forbidden City clocks "coming alive".

Zhang Rong, Guo Fuxiang and Wang Guangyao, three second-level research librarians of the Palace Museum, as experts in the field of glassware, clocks and ceramics, also took the stage to share with the audience, and they look forward to making more cross-border integration attempts in the future to make more cultural relics of the Forbidden City "alive". The press conference also invited loyal young fans of the Palace Museum to accept book donations from guests on the spot.
