“...... I came from the Forbidden City to the east, so I am Dongzhu. ”

"We have come across the ocean, and we are the most delicate rubies in color."

"We come from the depths of the sea, corals that are as fiery red as the sun."

"We came up from the mountain, and it was turquoise that looked like pine trees."

These interesting images are from "The Great Forbidden City Baby". This set of books takes the precious cultural relics collected by the Palace Museum as the starting point, activates the treasures of the Forbidden City from a new perspective, and conveys the traditional wisdom of Chinese civilization with childlike and anthropomorphic cultural relics short stories. Each story is presented in the form of a picture book, which not only shows the characteristics of cultural relics, but also teaches children a truth about being a human being in an anthropomorphic form and vivid storyline.

At the end of each story, a "small archive of cultural relics" is set up to focus on the knowledge of such cultural relics in the collection of the Forbidden City. For example, the history of glass craftsmanship, cloisonné craftsmanship, silk reeling craft in China, the history of Western clocks and watches in the Forbidden City, Chinese green landscape paintings and the social style of the Northern Song Dynasty, and the history of tea fighting in the Song Dynasty, so that children can more accurately understand China's traditional craftsmanship and aesthetic tastes.

In "The Heart of Glass", the glass slag bucket little green light tried its best to cover up the deficiency, but finally found that the light and frankness were the most beautiful. In "Inconspicuous Little Black", Jianzhan Xiaohei is confident and low-key, and has the great ability to have some tea and tea fighting, and is praised as "handsome"! In "The Distress of the Divine Beast", in the face of the incomprehension of others, Lu Duan moves from distress to self-confidence and finds that "I am what I am". Guide children to self-affirmation and enhance self-confidence.

In "The Birth of the Sword", the copper country, the tin country, and the lead country continue to try to solve problems, and finally cast a sharp and tough two-color sword. In "Dongzhu and Friends", Dongzhu unites with other gemstones to successfully wear a string of Dongzhu Chaozhu beads with multiple meanings. In "Pinion Slipped Away", The Pinion went through a fantasy journey and finally found his position and let the clock walk again. Encourage children to take the courage to challenge and take the initiative to solve problems.

There are many similar storybooks, such as "The Cup of Dissatisfaction", where The teachings of Grandpa Confucius and the personal experiments of the instrument tell us: "Full of losses, humble benefits." "In "The Great Transformation of Jade", the scraps turned into jade carvings, and the craftsman's ingenuity and clever hands made the emperor praise. The "Rhino Horn Pot Returning home" tells the story of the upside-down rhino horn pot, through the donation of patriotic doctors, finally returned to his hometown.
