Recently, Aika Auto obtained a set of real car pictures of the 2022 BYD Tang EV from an online social platform, and the new car shape is consistent with the previous declaration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the more concise front face makes the new Tang EV look refreshing. According to the model infographic exposed at the same time, the maximum cruising range of the new Tang EV under the CLTC test standard can reach 730km.
Judging from the real car pictures exposed this time, the most important changes in the appearance of the new car are concentrated in the shape of the middle net and the front bumper, and the middle net that adopts the new "Dragon Face" family design language is completely integrated with the front of the car, which looks more concise and refreshing than the previous dot matrix design, and is much younger; the new air intake design on both sides of the front bumper and the central trapezoidal grille are also more unified with the design style of the whole vehicle.
The side and rear of the car have not changed much, and the new low roll resistance wheel shape and 4.4s tail mark are the more eye-catching places for the new car. According to the exposed infographic, the price range of the new Tang EV is 280,000-350,000 yuan (the current model is 279,500-31.48 million yuan). The new car will be available in a six-seater model (the current model is 7-seater) and equipped with a super intelligent electric four-wheel drive system, Tanner audio, active suspension and other configurations.
According to the previous declaration figure of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the body size of the 2022 Tang EV is 4900/1950/1725mm, and the wheelbase is 2820mm; the new car is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 168kW (229 horsepower), equipped with a 108.8kWh blade battery, the maximum cruising range of the four-wheel drive model under the NEDC test standard is 615km, and the maximum cruising range of the two-wheel drive model is 700km (the current model has a mileage of 505-565km).
The 2022 Don EV is currently tentatively scheduled to open pre-sale in late March, be listed in late April, and will be delivered in small quantities at the same time, and will be delivered normally from May.
