After releasing more than 20 pure electric new cars in one go some time ago, recently, Toyota and its luxury brand Lexus seem to be squeezing toothpaste to release more official pictures of several new cars. Recently, the latter has once again released several supplementary official pictures of its new electric vehicles, and the new car is significantly larger than the previous RZ 450e model in terms of size, which is significantly more high-end, or will be positioned as a medium and large SUV.
As can be seen from the official picture, in the front part, the new car basically continues the design of the RZ series, and the design of the family's iconic spindle front grille panel is clipped out of the unique black headlight group area, which is quite clever. The front bumper part has a penetrating black trim with upturned left and right sides, which is integrated with a special headlight group. Additional silver trims have been added to the front bumper section to further enhance the layering.
On the side of the body, unlike the RZ's coupe style, the new car has fairly straight and atmospheric lines, which at a glance show that it is a three-row SUV model, with a long, straight roof with a short drop at a large incline angle in the D-pillar part, and a penetrating chrome strip decoration above it. The suspension roof design with multi-segment dynamic waistline, hidden door handle details, looks quite exquisite and futuristic.
In the rear part, the tail lights of the new car adopt the common through structure of electric vehicles, the slender red light strip is embedded in the black bottom surface, and the upper part has the Lexus English letter logo, and the left and right sides are also greatly extended to the bottom of the D pillar, which has a stronger recognition. The entire rear line is also concave and convex, compared to the RZ 450e, which has a stronger mech style, especially the largely prominent rear bumper design, which is impressive.
Since only the official appearance map has been published, and it is obvious that it is still in the conceptual stage, the information on the interior and power of the new car is still unknown. Of course, for a pure electric model, I believe that the front and rear dual motors form an electronically controlled four-wheel drive system, and will not be absent, and the longer body is expected to bring greater pure electric mileage. Judging from the current progress, the new car should not be listed within this year, and it is worth looking forward to when it will be officially launched in the future.
