From south to north, the snow period in the northeast region increases sequentially, up to a maximum of 200 days, and is one of the most densely populated areas of ice and snow resources on the mainland. Unique natural reasons have made Northeast China the first region on the mainland to develop ice and snow sports. Ice and snow sports education in the northeast started early, with many ice and snow-related professional schools and strong scientific research strength. Northeast China is also a place with a long history of ice and snow sports, a good mass base, and the largest number of people participating in ice and snow sports, which can continue to send outstanding athletes to China's winter sports. A field of ice and snow gave birth to the glory of the Chinese Winter Olympics.
Yang Zhuzi Qingshan, the lord of Xuezhu Xuan, was born in 1947 in Changbai Mountain, Jilin Province. In the winter, this place becomes a white and vast world of ice and snow, and the snow falls down and puts on a white cotton jacket for the human world. Since he was a child, Yang Zhu has wandered in the silver-clad ice and snow world, and often plays in the snow, which is his indissoluble relationship with ice and snow.

Yang Zhu began to learn painting at the age of nine, specializing in painting bamboo, especially his snow bamboo, with free brush gestures, profound artistic conception, elegant and elegant, and unique paths, in order to fill the gap of "poor snow bamboo" in the history of Chinese bamboo painting. Because he chose the coordinates of his own development, he devoted himself to bamboo and created a crystallized work of "exploring the trend of thousands of poles and multiplying, and realizing the spirit of ten thousand poles", which made great contributions and achieved great success in the history of bamboo painting. In 2005, his "Bamboo Rhyme Style" exhibition with the theme of "Bamboo" was held at the National Art Museum of China, becoming the first solo exhibition of Bamboo Rhyme in the Chinese painting world so far. There are more than 80 bamboo paintings on display, divided into wind, sun, rain, dew, fog, snow, frost and ice, focusing on the variety of bamboo in various seasons and celestial conditions, which is fascinating. Liu Haisu, a master of Chinese painting, gladly wrote an inscription for the snow bamboo " Yang Zhu paints bamboo and wields it freely". Mr. Qian Juntao also has the praise of "charming and proud frost, divine charm, and a must-have". The famous painter Guan Shanyue and Chen Dayu respectively called him "the first person of Huaxia Snow Bamboo".
Since Beijing and Zhangjiakou won the right to host the 2022 Winter Olympics, Yang Zhu has not only paid attention to the ice and snow sports athletes, but also put a lot of energy into the promotion of ice and snow sports, not only drawing a lot of national treasure pandas participating in ice and snow sports, but also personally going to snow parks and ice rinks to sketch and hold lectures to let more literary and art circles and enthusiasts understand the Winter Olympics.
2021 China Post "Green Water, Green Mountains, the Most Beautiful Postal Road" series theme game postcard
On May 16, 2021, at the 2021 China Post "Green Water, Green Mountains, Most Beautiful Postal Road" series of theme competitions held in Beijing Olympic Forest Park, Yang Zhu carefully drew a "Blessing winter Olympics" postcard for the event, and donated "Blessing the Winter Olympics" paintings to the Sports Post Office at the award ceremony. The theme of these works is to publicize and promote the Olympic spirit, encourage the whole people to pursue happiness, health, and sports, learn more about ice and snow sports, and actively participate in sports. The event was hosted by China Post Group Co., Ltd., and invited the Market Development Department and Cultural Activities Department of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee as the guiding unit, and co-hosted by China Post Advertising Co., Ltd. and Beijing Marathon Association.
When the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics was held in Beijing, Yang Zhu said happily: "Although this year's Beijing Winter Olympics are not held in the northeast of my hometown, it is still the well-deserved 'base camp' of China's Winter Olympics."
