The special stamp "The Year of Nong Yin" was first published at the National Museum of China

On January 5, 2022, the launch ceremony of the special stamps of the Year of Nongyin was held at the National Museum of China. The stamp designer and famous artist Feng Dazhong, the secretary of the party group and chairman of China Post Group Co., Ltd. Liu Aili, the director of the National Museum Wang Chunfa, the deputy director of the State Post Bureau Dai Yingjun, the president of the seventh council of the All-China Philatelic Federation Yang Limin, the chief pastor of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Zhang Tianzuo, the dean of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University and vice chairman of the China Artists Association Lu Xiaobo, the deputy general manager of China Post Group Co., Ltd. In his speech, Corning said that stamp issuance resonates with the same frequency as the context of the times and social development, and the zodiac stamps, as the crown works of Chinese stamp art, have always adhered to inviting famous artists, integrating cultural concepts, creating stamp products, and sending New Year blessings to the people.

Lu Xiaobo said in his speech that stamps are works of art on paper, which allow the artistic creation of famous artists to enter thousands of households in the most convenient way, and it is hoped that in the future, the China Artists Association will continue to carry out in-depth cooperation with China Post, and let the light of art bloom infinitely through the stage between the square inches.

Stamp designer Feng Dazhong shared the mental process of creating zodiac stamps at the scene, frankly saying that stamp design is not only an artistic creation, but also carries a part of social responsibility, as an artist, he has the obligation to bravely undertake this work.

The special stamp of "The Year of Nongyin" is the seventh set in the fourth round of Chinese zodiac stamps, a set of two stamps, named "National Fortune Changlong" and "Tiger Yun Auspicious" respectively. "National Fortune Changlong" depicts the image of a majestic mountain tiger, standing tall and ambitious, conveying the meaning of the country's prosperity and ambition; "Tiger Yun Auspicious" depicts the warm scene of the tiger mother with two small tigers, implying the prosperity of children and grandchildren and the happiness of the family.

From 5 January 2022, consumers can purchase this set of stamps at designated postal outlets nationwide, philatelic network halls, China Post mobile phone clients and China Post WeChat weChat mall.
