On September 26, 2019, China Post issued a set of 3 special stamps for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The designer is Han Binghua, and 6.8473 million pieces have been issued. The names of the stamps are: "International Science and Technology Innovation Center", "Convenient Flow of Elements" and "Quality Living Circle", which show the prosperity and development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from three angles. The stamp printing uses special ink to embellish the picture, highlighting the sense of science and technology and modernity of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" special stamps are designed by internationally renowned designer and artist Han Binghua, who has been engaged in design, painting, sculpture and public art creation over the years, and has participated in the design of the flag and emblem of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and designed the poster and bid for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the commemorative stamp of "The 20th Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return to the Motherland", and the commemorative stamp of "The 30th Anniversary of the Development and Opening up of Shanghai Pudong".
"I was born in Guangzhou, spent my childhood in Hong Kong, and went to secondary school and university in Macau, so I am familiar with Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao." Han Binghua recalls that after the reform and opening up in the 1980s, he began to work in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhuhai and other places, and had a deep affection for the Greater Bay Area. More than two years have passed since the release of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in 2019 and the design and issuance of special stamps for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, "The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has undergone great changes, the policies have become more mature, the links between the three places have become closer, and the Greater Bay Area has also attracted more young people to work and live here." ”
