Fu Hu Sheng Wei: Look for the image of the "tiger" in the stamp

With the ringing of the 2022 Spring Festival Gala New Year's Zero O'Clock, we sent away the Year of the Ugly Ox, and we ushered in the Year of the Tiger. In my own collection of stamps, I have carefully selected some stamps with tiger motifs, including zodiac signs, animals, cultural relics, stories, folklore and so on. Through these small stamps, I would like to express my wishes to everyone: Fu Hu Sheng Wei, the Year of the Tiger is auspicious -

1. Year of the Tiger

On January 5, 2022, China Post issued the "Year of Nong yin" zodiac stamp. The first stamp is titled "National Fortune Changlong", which depicts the image of a majestic tiger on the mountain; the second stamp is titled "Tiger Yun auspicious", depicting a warm scene of a gentle-looking tiger mother with two small tigers.

2. The Year of the Tiger

On January 5, 1986, China Post issued the "Year of Ying Yin" zodiac stamp. This tiger adopts the traditional folk decoration technique, with a blue-purple base as the base, showing the tiger descending the mountain. There is both the charm of the cloth tiger and the style of the paper-cut tiger, and in the rich traditional art, it is full of the festive atmosphere of the Year of the Tiger.

3. Year of the Tiger

On January 5, 1998, China Post issued the "Year of Peng Yin" zodiac stamp. The first stamp, titled "Tiger Tiger Shengwei", shows a tiger toy from Lichengbu, Shanxi, and the second stamp is titled "Qi Through Changhong", which is taken from the cursive character "Tiger" in the Poems of General Pei written by Yan Zhenqing in the Tang Dynasty.

4. Year of the Gengyin Tiger

On January 5, 2010, China Post issued the "Year of Gengyin" zodiac stamp. In front of the word "Fu" formed by the red streamer, there stands a cartoon tiger with its hands crossed at the waist, and the wind is majestic. Using the three-dimensional shape of the computer, the beautiful stripes are outlined, and the tiger's kingly spirit comes to the face.

5. The Great Motherland (Shi Ling, Shang Dynasty Musical Instrument)

On August 25, 1954, China Post issued a special stamp entitled "The Great Motherland". Among them, the second stamp is titled "Stone ChiMes and Shang Dynasty Musical Instruments". In 1950, this stone chime was excavated in Wuguan Village, Anyang City, Henan Province, and the front was engraved with a tiger-shaped ornament, so it was called "Tiger Pattern Stone Chime".

6. Folk toys (little tigers and big tigers)

On December 10, 1963, China Post issued a special stamp entitled "Folk Toys". Among them, the seventh stamp is titled "Little Tiger and Big Tiger". The small cloth tiger is from Qingdao, and the big cloth tiger is from Beijing, one small and one large, echoing each other. The little tiger wagged its tail and was full of childishness; the big tiger stood tall and domineering.

7. Siberian tiger

On July 20, 1979, China Post issued a special stamp entitled "Siberian Tiger". The first stamp, titled "Echo of Iwatani," depicts a roaring Siberian tiger; the second, titled "Echoing the Wilderness," depicts two Siberian tigers clustered together; and the third, titled "Noisy Grass Mang," depicts a Siberian tiger hiding in the grass.

8. Cizhou kiln (double tiger pattern bottle and double tiger ear zun)

On April 15, 1981, China Post issued a special stamp entitled "Cizhou Kiln". The first stamp is called "Double Tiger Bottle", on the olive-shaped bottle, depicting a tiger with teeth and claws, fighting in a field of grass; the second stamp is called "Double Tiger Ear Zun", with two vigorous male tigers as the ears, exquisite shape, chic and cute.

9. Dunhuang Mural (Northern Wei Prince Safu sacrificed himself to feed the tiger)

On May 20, 1987, China Post issued a special stamp entitled "Dunhuang Murals". The small Zhang name is "Northern Wei Prince Sa Yan Sacrificed Himself to Feed the Tiger", which is the bunsen story of the south wall of Cave 254 of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes. Through a coherent picture, it tells the story of Prince Sasuke encountering a group of hungry tigers, taking the initiative to throw himself off a cliff and feed the tigers.

10. The Second Congress of the All-China Philatelic Federation

On October 17, 1986, China Post issued a commemorative stamp entitled "The Second Congress of the All-China Philatelic Federation". The pattern adopts the Warring States Tiger Festival collected by the Palace Museum, which has the inscription "The King's Order Is Passed on". It is the same as the tiger charm used for mobilizing troops, half to the messenger, half to the station, and the two are combined to be effective.

11. Water Margin (Wu Song Fighting Tiger)

On July 25, 1989, China Post issued a special stamp entitled "Water Margin (Group II)". Among them, the first stamp is titled "Wusong Fighting Tiger". The moon is dark and windy, deep in the dense forest, on the Jingyang Gang, Wu Song fought fiercely with his bare hands and fiercely with the tiger, beating a living evil tiger to death, and was known as the "hero of fighting the tiger".

12. He Xiangning's Chinese Paintings (Tiger)

On June 27, 1998, China Post issued a special stamp entitled "He Xiangning Chinese Paintings". Among them, the first stamp, titled "Tiger", was created in 1910 and depicts a large tiger with angry eyes. The "Mr. Keqiang" in the upper right corner refers to Huang Xing, an important figure in the Xinhai Revolution.

13. Chat Zai Zhiyi (Zhao Chenghu)

On May 16, 2003, China Post issued a special stamp entitled "Liaozhai Zhiyi (Group III)". Among them, the second stamp is titled "Zhao Chenghu". In Zhao Cheng, there is an old woman in her 70s, and her only child is eaten by a tiger. After realizing his sins, the tiger is willing to support the old woman instead of his son.

14. Eastern Zhou Bronze Ware (Turtle and Fish Pattern Square Disk)

On December 13, 2003, China Post issued a special stamp entitled "Eastern Zhou Bronze Ware". Among them, the first stamp is called "Turtle Pattern Square Disk". This Warring States bronze is in the collection of the Palace Museum, and under the square plate, there are four tiger-shaped feet. The tiger was lying on the ground, full of energy and ready to attack.

15. South China Tiger

On August 23, 2004, China Post issued a special stamp for the South China Tiger. The South China Tiger is also known as the "Chinese Tiger". On the first stamp, there is a portrait of a male tiger, very majestic and extraordinary; on the second stamp, there is a female tiger with two small tigers, full of harmony, beauty and warmth.

16. Ancient Artifacts (Tiger Bird Drum)

On September 15, 2004, China and Romania jointly issued a special stamp entitled "Ancient Cultural Relics". Among them, the Chinese stamp design is "Tiger Bird Drum". This artifact was unearthed in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, and is a typical artifact unique to the Chu State during the Warring States period. The base in the shape of a double tiger is carved from nan wood, and the image is realistic and lifelike.

17. Fengxiang Woodblock Prints (Naxiang Boy)

On January 10, 2011, China Post issued a special stamp entitled "Fengxiang Woodblock Prints". Among them, the second stamp is called "Na Xiang Boy", which creates a handsome and healthy tiger riding doll in an exaggerated way. He waved his chubby little hand and rode on a tiger to drive away evil spirits and make peace.

18. Guan Gong (Night Reading Spring and Autumn)

On September 12, 2011, China Post issued a special stamp of "Guan Gong". Among them, the second stamp is titled "Night Reading Spring and Autumn". Guan Yu stepped on the tiger's head and sat on a tiger skin chair, clad in armor, and mighty on all sides. He read carefully under the lamp, with his beautiful hair in one hand and "Spring and Autumn" in the other, concentrating on his mind and forgetting things and forgetting himself.

19. Ancient Chinese Mythology (Dayu Zhishui)

On August 6, 2019, China Post issued a special stamp entitled "Ancient Chinese Mythology". Among them, the sixth stamp is titled "Dayu Zhishui". Dayu led the crowd to divert the flow of water in the rushing river to fight the flood. Behind Dayu, a white tiger took off in the air, showing the spirit of struggle.

20. Spring Festival (Family Fun)

On January 29, 2000, China Post issued a special stamp for the Spring Festival. Among them, the small Zhang is called "Family Joy", depicting three generations of grandchildren and five people sitting around the family's fire and celebrating the festive scene of the Spring Festival. On the head of a child, wearing a tiger head hat, it looks very popular.
