The 2.5-meter-long "Baifuku Map" attracts attention

At Huang Xiaomin's paper-cutting art studio on Xiuwen West Road in zhangzhou ancient city, a huge "Fu" paper-cut work is particularly eye-catching.

Huang Xiaomin, non-hereditary heir of Zhangpu Paper-cutting and director of Zhangpu Paper-cutting Association, introduced that this work is 2.5 meters wide and 2.5 meters high, named "Fu in front of the eyes and blessing to the heart", and there are nearly 100 Fu character elements in the whole work, also known as "Baifu Tu". "In the middle of this paper-cut work is a huge 'Fu' character, with auspicious clouds next to it, which means auspicious and happy..." Huang Xiaomin said that this year is the Year of the Tiger, and this work also specially adds tiger elements, implying that there are tigers and blessings.

In addition, Huang Xiaomin innovated in the traditional flat paper-cutting, making three-dimensional paper-cut greeting cards, such as paper-cut three-dimensional greeting cards with tiger as the element, traditional + cartoon version, which is deeply loved by children.

"Tiger General" and "Blessed God" puppets celebrate the New Year

Walk into the Xuzhuchu Puppet Art Museum in the ancient city of Zhangzhou, where a variety of exquisite puppet heads are displayed, which makes people feast their eyes. This year is the Year of the Tiger, the head of the museum, a famous puppet carving artist, Fujian Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage representative inheritor Xu Qiang introduced, puppet head carving, many of the themes are related to "tiger" and "Fu", such as "Five Tiger Generals" and Yang Qilang.

In addition, a statue of the "God of Blessings" dressed in red and with a festive expression is displayed on the second floor of the museum, which is particularly eye-catching. "The god of blessing is the protector of folk beliefs in Fujian and Taiwan, and he can bring happiness and peace to the people and pin down the auspicious and good wishes that the people hope for." Xu Qiang said.

"Fuhu" flower lanterns to welcome the New Year

This year, 11 parks and major landscape nodes in Zhangzhou City have arranged Lantern Lanterns for the Spring Festival, focusing on "Fumei Zhangzhou", integrating the cultural elements of "Fu" and "Tiger", and doing different themes in each park, creating a festive and peaceful festival atmosphere.

At the entrance of the fluorescent square of the West Courtyard Lake Ecological Park in the city, a group of flower lanterns with the theme of flying in the starry sky are integrated with the elements of Fuhu, only to see a cute tiger wearing a space suit waving to everyone to congratulate the New Year.
