Ye Xiuli, the representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage embroidery project at the autonomous region level and a teacher at the Guyuan Special Education School, is the fourth sister of Ye Shixian. At school, she carefully teaches students to learn embroidery; at home, she and her family work together to make fabric handicrafts, and everyone learns from each other's strengths, learns from each other, and makes progress together.
Ye Xiuli is the pride of the family, and under her influence and drive, the family's interest in learning fabric handicraft is even stronger. In order to broaden their horizons and further enhance their craftsmanship, before the Dragon Boat Festival last year, their families met in Qingyang City, Gansu Province, to "learn the scriptures".
After returning from study, everyone carefully pondered and practiced repeatedly, and their skills were outstanding.
At Ye Shixian's house, large and small cartons are filled with a variety of handicrafts such as sachets, pendants, and small animals. During last year's Dragon Boat Festival, her fabric handicrafts took to the market and won the recognition of consumers. "Handmade sachets like this, one can sell for fifty or sixty yuan." Ye Shixian held the sachet and loved it.
Kung Fu pays off, and thanks to Ye Shixian's efforts, her fabric handicrafts are constantly innovating, and she is fully prepared to bring her beloved works to the market again during this year's Dragon Boat Festival.
The family's love of fabric handicraft originated from Ye Xiuli's mother. Mother's needlework was very good. Ye Xiuli and several older sisters learned from an early age and practiced a good needlework craft, laying a good foundation for the future handicraft of fabric.
Watching the family "show their craftsmanship" to each other, the little girls in the family did not forget to join in the fun together. Under the careful guidance of Ye Xiuli and Ye Shixian, the little girls did needlework to look good, and their seriousness was not worse than that of adults.
