China Post is scheduled to issue a set of 7 special stamps entitled "World Natural Heritage - Karst of Southern China" on April 28, 2022. The stamp designs are: Shilin Karst, Libo Karst, Wulong Karst, Guilin Karst, Shibing Karst, Jinfoshan Karst, Huanjiang Karst. The full set of stamps has a face value of $8.40.

China is the country with the largest karst landform distribution area, from tropical to cold temperate zone, from humid area to arid area, a variety of karst landform types are complete and all-encompassing. Not only does it have spectacular scenery, but it also shows the complex evolutionary history of this landscape. The southern China karst, including Shilin, Libo, Wulong, Guilin, Shibing, Jinfoshan and Huanjiang, was selected as a World Natural Heritage Site in two phases in 2007 and 2014.
This set of stamps was designed by Yang Wenqing. The stamp adopts the painting method of Western painting, on the basis of highlighting the characteristics of the karst landscape in southern China, appropriate artistic exaggeration and trade-offs are carried out, so that the performance content is in line with scientific laws and does not lose artistic beauty, the overall picture composition is full, the color is rich and coordinated, and the scene is majestic and magnificent, showing the unique natural beauty of the southern karst.
This set of stamps is printed by the photocopy process of Beijing Stamp Factory Co., Ltd., and the six-color high-net wire process fully shows the geomorphological characteristics of the southern karst and highly restores the original painting style. The stamp adopts two-color anti-counterfeiting fluorescent ink with yellow ink and yellow light and red ink and red light, and the stamp picture under the purple light is more vivid and three-dimensional.
The set of stamps is sold in designated postal outlets, philatelic network halls, China Post mobile phone clients, China Post WeChat Philatelic WeChat Mall and China Post Mall WeChat Mini Program for a period of 6 months. In order to display the stamp content more abundantly, China Post will release digital content through the "China Philatelic Stamp Encyclopedia" WeChat Mini Program, and stamp collectors can use the AR function to watch.
