Jiangxi Province 2023-2025 Special Stamp Selection Seminar was held in Nanchang

In order to do a good job in recommending the selection of special stamp topics during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, promote the high-quality stamp project, so that more outstanding themes in our province will be honored as "national business cards" as soon as possible. On the afternoon of January 22, the Jiangxi Provincial 2023-2025 Special Stamp Selection Seminar was held at the Provincial Postal Branch. Present at the meeting were Li Deping, deputy director of the Jiangxi Provincial Taxation Bureau, Liu Xiaoli, vice president of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Wang Xiaochun, former director of the Party History Research Office of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, Luo Huifen, former vice mayor of the Nanchang Municipal Government, Chen Gu, former deputy inspector of the Jiangxi Provincial Women's Federation, Chen Aimin, general manager of the Department of Philatelic and Cultural Media of the Provincial Postal Branch and secretary general of the Provincial Philatelic Association, Cai Ping, deputy general manager, relevant experts and scholars in the field of cultural industries and news media in the province, and some executive directors of the Provincial Philatelic Association. The meeting was chaired by Chen Aimin.

Cai Ping read out to the guests and experts the document "Notice on Submitting the Selection of Special Stamps for the 2023-2025 Period of the 14th Five-Year Plan Period", proposing that the recommended special stamps should be principled, scientific and serial, and the scope of recommendation focused on eight categories, namely major events, construction achievements, traditional culture, scenic spots, red themes, representative figures, teenagers and other categories. At the same time, it is pointed out that the spirit of red, the symbol of green, and the heritage of ancient times have become one of the core contents of the history, culture, social value and high-quality development of our province, and have also become the emotional expression, memory symbols and cultural landmarks of our province to tell Chinese stories and inherit Ganpo culture. With regard to the recommendation of the topic of the Jite stamp, the meeting held that it should focus on three aspects: First, the topic of the Jite stamp should be combined with the characteristics of Jiangxi, reflecting the red, green, and ancient Jiangxi three-color culture, and even more importantly, it should highlight the national influence and historical importance of the theme, publicize the spirit and style of the party and the state, reflect the achievements of socialist construction, and carry forward the excellent traditional culture; second, we must attach importance to the cultural genes of the stamp, which carries rich cultural connotation and powerful spiritual force, and is a "textbook" outside the classroom. The selection of topics should attach importance to the inheritance of campuses and other aspects, and actively link up with schools and other forces to disseminate China's excellent traditional culture; the third is to give play to the role of stamps as "national business cards", and the selection of topics should reflect the historical and cultural values of Jiangxi, and should be like the cultural relics of the Nanchang Han Dynasty.

Chen Aimin said that the selection and recommendation of jite stamps should integrate resources and form forces, and each topic must have supporting materials. Stamp selection and recommendation should be more expensive than more. It is necessary to accurately select the theme of stamps, better carry forward the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation, tell Chinese stories well, and praise the theme of the spirit of the new era. The selection of the topic of the Jite stamp should conform to the characteristics of the times, better meet the people's yearning for a better life, and better play the responsibility and responsibility of the people's post for the people.

Doing a good job in recommending the selection of special stamp topics during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period and promoting the project of fine stamps is one of the key tasks for China Post to implement the spirit of "promoting the construction of a socialist cultural power" at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to "practice the people-centered development ideology". At the end of November last year, the provincial philatelic association issued a document to the philatelic associations of various cities, and has received 39 stamp selections. In the next step, the stamp topic will be selected well, perfected and enriched, and the topic selection plan will be reported according to the requirements.
