Old ren new works hide new technologies
Nintendo's new somatosensory work "NS Sport" is currently available in a network beta version. After downloading the game, we found at the very bottom of the "Intellectual Property Information" that the game used FSR technology from AMD.
FSR, whose full name is Super Resolution Sharp Painting Technology, is a technology that uses AI computation to improve the resolution of games, similar to NVIDIA's own DLSS technology.
To make a simple analogy: the original game 1080P needs to consume 100% performance, then with the blessing of this technology, you can render a low-resolution screen with 60% performance, and then use 20% performance to enlarge it to 1080P, so that you can use 80% performance to obtain a picture effect that is close to 100% performance, and use the extra performance to make up for the number of frames.
Although this is AMD's technology, because it is an open source project and does not require special hardware support, it can be used by processors including NVIDIA and Intel in addition to AMD's GPUs, including NS's Tegra X1 processor.
At present, it is not certain how the effect will perform in the game, but if the future Ren can popularize this technology in his own game, the resolution and frame rate should be able to get a lot of improvement.
Tencent rights protection was awarded 200,000 yuan

Q: NFTs and blockchain have become popular trends in enterprises, is Platinum interested in this regard?
Atsushi Inaba: We haven't really thought about it yet, and I know it's a hot topic right now, but the way it's promoted has always focused on the company's bottom line, and it doesn't have any sense of positive impact on creators and users. So this situation is still quite frustrating. Those who are trying to promote NFTs and work with game companies, their conversations seem to be very one-sided and only focused on profit, but how does it benefit the users or creators? If I want to spend my time on something, I hope it helps create a good game. I do think the concept of NFT is going to become more and more important as content becomes more digital, but I think early participants just saw it as a way to monetize it, and honestly, that's not what I'm interested in.
Q: Is it surprising to see Konami dabble in NFT so quickly?
Hideki Kamiya: Not at all surprised, as soon as you smell money, Konami will appear immediately! Honestly, I have zero interest in this stuff. What Inaba just said resonated with me because I considered myself to be essentially a user, not a businessman. At the moment this stuff does not do any good for users. Maybe I'll start to get interested in the future if it scales in a way that benefits users, but I haven't seen it yet.

New intelligence in Xenoblade 3
