Even if it lacks sufficient economic and political power, with its huge nuclear arsenal, the Russian government has tried to determine the situation in Europe with the US government, even the European powers such as Britain, France and Germany, let alone Ukraine, which has territorial disputes.

Putin's referring to Zelenskiy as "my beauty" may indeed be a gaffe, but more often than not, he says what he thinks in his heart, not taking small and medium-sized countries into account, even if it is an independent sovereign state.
