There is a painting of karma stories south of the east wall gate of Cave 428 of Mogao Caves.
The story painting is titled "Fan Zhi couple picking flowers and falling to their fate", from the "Fa Ju Yu Jing : The Product of Life and Death", and there are only 428 caves in the Dunhuang Grottoes.
In ancient India, there was a wealthy young Man, Fan Zhi, who grew up, and his father chose a young and beautiful woman for him as his wife, and the family lived a very happy life. One day shortly after the new marriage, the couple went to the back garden to enjoy the flowers, and the trees in the garden were luxuriant and the flowers were blooming, just like a fairy scene, making people nostalgic for going back and forth. The young Fanzhi's wife, who also liked flowers very much, asked her husband to pick flowers for her. The young Fan Zhi went up to the tree to pick flowers for his beloved wife, and gave the flowers he picked to his wife, and after the wife got a flower, she loved it, and the more she looked at it, the more she liked it, and begged her husband to pick another branch, and the husband went up to the tree to pick flowers in order to meet his wife's wishes, who knew that the branch suddenly broke, and the young Fan Zhi fell from the tree and unfortunately fell to the ground. The sudden death of the young Fan Zhi made the happy and happy family become painful and sad in the blink of an eye, and the elderly family fell into deep sorrow. In order for the whole family to get rid of this suffering, the elder asked the Buddha why he had to suffer the pain of losing his son.
The Buddha said that in a past life, you and your son helped a child with others and shot a in a tree, so in this life your son will suffer the evil retribution of falling from a tree and dying.
The end of the story, we will not list for the time being, but only talk about this painting in the Dunhuang Grottoes. The painter only takes the husband picking flowers on the tree, and the wife picking flowers under the tree, which is a small scene of life, which allows us to see a perfect love and happy marriage. The painter did not deliberately depict the scene of the husband's death and the causes in it, perhaps because he wanted to keep the time between the husband and wife in the best shape.

Nanda monk karma story painting
The "Nanda Renunciation Karma Story Painting" on the north wall of Cave 254 of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes is from the "Miscellaneous Treasure Sutra" Volume VIII "Buddha's disciple Nanda was forced to leave the family by the Buddha to obtain the Taoist edge".
The "Diagram of the Causes and Conditions of Nanda's Renunciation" is about Shakyamuni's younger brother Nanda, who was still obsessed with worldly life after his renunciation and often secretly returned home to meet his wife. In order for him to cut off all the causes in the world, Shakya first took him to heaven and made him see good happiness. He then took him to hell and waited for Nanda to be boiled, so that he could see countless sufferings, and finally he was able to get rid of all distractions and concentrate on the ascetic practice of the world.
The "Diagram of the Causes and Conditions of Nanda's Renunciation" shows Shakya sitting in the grass temple and preaching the precepts, flanked by zen masters and shaving ordinators with razors, on both sides of which are depicted in the middle layers of zen monks and bodhisattvas who listen to the Dharma, on the upper floor depicts flying heavens, and on the lower level depicts the entangled scenes of Nanda and his wife inseparable. Nanda stood at the door of the house, knowing that this was the day when the husband and wife parted, he put one hand on his wife's shoulder and the other hand held the arm of his beloved wife, helpless, reluctant, because before leaving, his wife repeatedly said: "You go out to see the Buddha, don't delay too long, I will come back before the makeup on my forehead is dry." Words are still in the ear, but people are separated. Holding hands and looking at each other with tears in her eyes, she was speechless and choked, and her wife Sun Tuoli could not bear to face all this, she turned her face and forced her tears to endure, and could not bear to let her husband see her pain.
There are profits and losses in the month, and there are thanksgiving, and I want to leave the most bitter parting in life.

The south wall of Cave 85 of Mogao Caves is painted with a painting of "Prince Shanyou Entering the Sea to Seek The Jewel Bunsen", which is from the fourth volume of the "Great Convenience Buddha's Sutra of Grace", "Evil Friends".
After Prince Shanyou went into the sea to obtain the Mani Orb, on the way back, he was blinded by his brother's evil friend, snatched the orb, and exiled to the lishi to guard the orchard for the palace.
The good friend plays the kite well, and the Buddhist scriptures say:
Good and friendly and skillful to play the kite, its sound is elegant, pleasing to the hearts of the people. ("The Great Convenience Buddha Repays the Grace Sutra and Evil Friends")
The sound of the kite attracted princess Lishi Baoguo, and the wise and virtuous princess saw the good friend playing the kite under the tree, and when she heard the music flowing from the hands of the good friend, she did not hesitate to confess her love to the good friend, desperate to marry him, and finally the lover finally became a family member.
In the mural "Bunsen Painting of prince Shanyou entering the sea to ask for a treasure pearl", the most well-known is the moment when Shanyou and the princess meet and "play the kite under the tree".
In the picture, the ground is green and grassy, the shadows of the trees are fragile, and the branches are lush. The whole picture is based on green, with white dresses and black clothes, bright and transparent, forming a quiet, deep, silent and sounded artistic conception.
