Witnesses reported that they saw an An-2 light aircraft crash near the town of Kolyak in the Yelizovo district. Rescue workers from the fire departments of the towns of Koriak and Lesnoy, the rescue center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and the military services are on their way to the scene of the incident.
Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations said it was carrying two crew members on board, one of whom was killed. Shortly thereafter, the remains of the second victim were also found.
