On the banks of the Dongsha River in Changping, Beijing, is the Shahe Campus of China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). On campus, there is a group of lovely Winter Olympic volunteers, and this Spring Festival, they are thinking about the future together in the Chinese New Year.

"Watching the Spring Festival Gala with a group of like-minded friends, eating dumplings, playing guitar and singing, is the Winter Olympics that makes us feel a different New Year of the Tiger!" Looking back on it now, I still think it's quite romantic. This is the memory of Feng Xikun, a senior student from the College of Science, of Chinese New Year's Eve Night.

In 2008, her parents took Feng Xikun to Beijing to watch the competition, and then she took the initiative to come forward and ask the volunteers. Since then, she has aspired to be a volunteer. Fourteen years later, she became a Volunteer for the Winter Olympics.

"The little Chinese New Year's Eve, the school organized us to write the Spring Festival, cut the window flowers, and the students felt the strong taste of the New Year. Chinese New Year's Eve night, we ate the school's 'top Chinese New Year's Eve meal', imagined the future with our classmates and teachers, listened to some suggestions given to me by my brothers and sisters who were older than me, and explored more unknown worlds. Feng Xikun said.

Zhang Xiaomei, who is in the volunteer team with Feng Xikun, is already a "student sister" in the third year of her doctorate, and while she realizes her dream of being an Olympic volunteer, she has more responsibilities. Discuss employment options with students, take the lead in doing handicrafts, and organize activities. "Where there is love, there is a home, and there is no small family from everyone!" Zhang Xiaomei sighed that in such a big family, everyone is full of love for each other and love for the country.

In order to enrich the amateur life of volunteers, the school will often hold some activities to make everyone active. Badminton, table tennis, volleyball, movies, book clubs, political science classes, indoor and outdoor are also many. In addition, the school also prepared a New Year red envelope for everyone, and the Winter Olympic commemorative banknote in the red envelope allowed everyone to engrave the Winter Olympic mark in the Chinese New Year.

"Only when the motherland is good, can each of us be good!" The strength of the motherland makes every volunteer feel the intimate warmth in the New Year of the Tiger.

After the interview, Feng Xikun sent a working photo to the reporter, a white Winter Olympic down jacket lined with a youthful smile. She said it was the white down jacket of her dreams, the warmest dress.
